I guess the ground is still very hard. From opinion poll - Raila has improved from 2 percent to 6 percent - that is tripling of his vote base in the difficult slopes of GEMA ...but it has come at great prizes because he has nationally lost his voice and vote base.

I think 'baba' could not afford the hefty pay required to meet the elders. Besides, the majority of those elders are in sync with folks on the ground. They know meeting hustler's enemy will downgrade their institution, so pulling out anything to avoid the encounter was necessary. Ground information has it that they put the stipend way high that 'baba' crew called it quits. Dp donated Italian suits, money, and other goods years back to the same elders!
