Strategically he needs to build UDA first before any coalition. Come April-May - Ruto will change tune - and possibly enter a Hustler Nation coalition. That I believe is the end goal. This especially after fallout in nomination and to fill up few numbers.

But for now he has to sell UDA - so he cannot become dependent on coalition - and end up forming a weak gov.

What Raila and company are doing - we will end up with small parties - that will make governing very hard. Each party with 20 mps - would make passing legislation in parliament a nightmare.

I think you understimate RUto at your own peril.
Ruto know he has huge window of opportunity with Kiambaa - and he aint going to slow down UDA entry into Mt kenya.
