I mean, what is going on?

What has the Uhuruto government done to address the problem?

Nice like that; You earned yourself a reputation point from me.

What is going on - ECONOMIC carnage from jobless/business loans/ reposed  homes and from hospital bills.

The worse is mortgages worth 100B plus are in distress.

People are seeing lifetime investment being auctioned.

Gov should open up the economy and ask the banks to take some hit. Banks are making profit; and auctioning people properties.

I went to visit this guys yard looking for a car. He took me to another yard. This yard is where he does business with banks. The law requires that a repossessed car be held in a secured storage for 14 days before it is auctioned. So he told me that this side of his business was booming so bad he couldn't in his wildest dreams had thought this is what would make him rich. The guy was telling me he has 3 other yards like those holding hundreds of cars he gets in a week. Bottomline uhuru has killed businesses and limited the ability of those that got involved in black market from making money.

Yes - the worse is a mortgage - and auction - some of huge buildings - flats and name it. This why I don't take loans myself. The Insurance are jumping hospital bills - ICU for 20 days - you're kaput - 2-3million - and maybe you lose your job - then you lose your house - then you kill yourself

Don't be alarmed  :D I don't get the taboo around suicide, for some it is the only viable escape from hellish existence.

Kenya is hell right now. I have never seen people this desperate and depressed. The problem is morons are still having babies. How the fuck do you keep on having kids even when your income is not stable or guaranteed. The people who suffering women. Most of women in kenya have been left to take care of kids on their own by dead beats. Fuck it all men should get vasectomy after you had enough kids.

I am for the weak and toxic taking themselves out. Makes them quite brave especially when they bow out alone without killing spouses and kids.

The virus required serious adjustment on fixed expenditures but not sure whether it is the religious virus where people on the cliff keep singing how their gods wont allow to stumble. Things will get better anthems when your tender godfathers are gasping for air. No tenants in rentals.

Worse is inability to change kids from expensive fees schools. This year has four terms and the fees is being increased. So for a generation used to live flashy lifestyles accepting that music is over will be suicidal. Worse when the women have been saving while the man was just balling.

Useless government treating the virus as a passing cloud will also kill many in ICUs- at least they bow out without suicide stigma.

It's not so much taboo as concern about the chaos and depression it leaves to loved ones.  It's a cop out from a hellish existence that makes it even more hellish for the living.

Mental health in Kenya is a huge problem. Where does one begin? Has anyone ever done an undercover YouTube video of Mathare Hospital? That would probably be a start.

God help Kenya.

Chaos and depression is temporary, they got on with their lives in due course  :D But departed at least get deliverance.

Eti cop out - typical liberal tosh, you believe those sob stories the press love quoting about relatives missing loved ones who killed themselves, don't believe it. They don't care, we are alone in this world, no one will provide for you, face your problems with you. Suicide should be looked at as an honorable exit from this nasty brutish place.

Riiight! You are the only one who gets it, the rest are burying their heads in the sand. What is the point of procreation in a hellhole like ours? None! Just live out your miserable lives and be done with it. No need to bring another sentient being into existence to suffer needlessly. Don't feel bad for these women, they put themselves in those situations, they are very pro-natal religious knuckleheads who love popping out kids despite living on sewers and garbage dumps. Infectious diseases and viruses will take care of them rest assured.

When it comes to getting money for athletes, I asked Pundit whether he was involved in this effort but he has not replied:

They can't pay counties what makes you think they was development budgets just sitting around.

MOst of the revenues collected have gone to debt interest repayments for the lunatic express 2.0, cinku is eating handsomely off the equity and sweat of wanjiku and the hustlers.

Why Mathare when you can go to Parliament and record it officially without any risk of getting your head bashed?

If anything, tolerance for suicide is a more liberal trait.  They tend to have fewer taboos.  Even then, not everything is a simplistic divide between liberal and conservative.
