Does Ruto have control over security apparatus?
« on: June 26, 2024, 06:57:12 AM »
1) For the last 20 years,Uhuru and Kibaki stuffed their proxies in the Kenya security apparatus. Ruto has been in the system for just 2 years.
2) Like we have seen on social Media, There are thousands of GENz and parents of GENz in the security services. You can imagine a situation where your brother is a protestor and you are the police man.
3) There is anger and frustration even within the security services due to corruption and cost of living.
4) The Kenya security apparatus is a cosmopolitan organization that wouldn't want to be engaged in political factions.
5) The Kenya Judiciary,NGOs,Church,Muslim Clerics, International organizations wouldn't allow the use of force in Modern day Kenya.
6) Use of force would ignite massive uprising.
7) you don't want a situation where people start disturbing once you are out of power.
8) He has lost the MT Kenya vote block which gave him over 30% vote. That means he has no political capital and the more the chaos, the more the loss of political support.

SOLUTION
1) Use of force is not an option, GUNS DON'T WORK,
2) Give dialogue a chance,
3) Prosecute corrupt people even if they are your relatives,
3) Withdraw the finance bill.

How about
1) Ruto forget about Mt kenya - Lima Uhuru and Riggy proper
2) In case you need security backup - you have millions of warriors at standby.
3) 2027 you dont have strong opponent - as GEN Z seem apolitical - and will splinter into tribal groups - better if they stand alone
4) Focus on small tribes in 2027 - and then finally make a deal with Luhya or Luo for DP.

All in all - restore the fear of authority on GEN Z now.

Ruto Uhuru an Rigathi are triplets from 1990s So Ruto can't go after Uhuru or Rigathi,he can only argue with them and it ends there. That is why Uhuru was begging Ruto yesterday to cool down the protestors through dialogue.Otherwise if the chaos escalated, they would be no winners because all their wealth would be destroyed in the chaos.

The problem and Ruto understands this very well is once you use military thats the beginning of your loss of power to them ot will be a short while before they overthrow him, he is treading carefully he is not stupid, ruto still is calculating but above all if US abandon him then he is out of power, the worst resort is when armed groups start forming and security forces split then Kenya is doomed, who wants that???? Apparently in KDF they are soldiers gearing up for a coup and mutiny.

Fellow Kenyans, the change of tone is because of our military men and women who said NO to tyranny and dictatorship!

Jeremiah Kioni is Uhuru right hand man. This information maybe true.Seems Ruto is powerless.

You are so right. Ruto should have humbled himself instead he took a fighting tone. Ordering shoot to kill is extremely irresponsible.
One good he did was shelve the bill. But I understand it automatically becomes law after 21days!!!

Shooting people only brings more anger and more pple to streets.
An angry crowd is the worst. Adrenaline is not afraid of bullets.
