It is a disservice for you to derail threads where members are here for debate by introducing sideshows and other topics, when you could just as easily have opened another thread and taken that topic there for a separate discussion - if it is current and merits one. No one holds a gun to your head to respond to a post when you could just ignore it and whether one takes you seriously or not is not anybody's problem. When Pundit was saying Violence is one of the cards in play and told him to forget Violence .We had a bitter fallout .When RVHH was saying Pokots will vote en mass for Ruto I gave past historical data and told him even during Mois time 30% were voting the other side.

Putin is one of the moderate Generals. His supporters are cut from a different cloth. His supporters are not of the Dolce and Gabbana , His supporters are the Believers of Peter the Great and Catherine.
They make a substantial number of citizens in Russia. Majoritybof his supporters are the ones who emigrated from former USSR countries after fall U.S.S.R. Majority from NovoRussia. What is now Donabass,  Xerson , Odessa , Kharkhiv, etc. Biggest Pop bands in Russia were Russians of Ukraine origin .
So if you think his mission in Ukraine is misguided. Majority of Russians think he only started it late. NovoRussia land going to Polish Ukraine is an Omen to Russians. In retrospect this  a continuation of the Pol-Rus war ........
