They are catching hell.  Putin plans to send in more(and less experienced and trained) replacements for God knows what.  I suspect it's a cultural thing.  Russians(and Ukrainians) have some pretty petty tendencies that you don't typically see with bazungus.

Breaking:
The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2022 has gone to Sweden's Svante Paabo for his work on human evolution.

The Prize committee said he cracked the genetic code of one of our extinct relatives - Neanderthals. (The other being the previously unknown relative - Denisovans). His work shows there were already two distinct groups of hominins (Neanderthals and Denisovans) living in Eurasia (Europe & Asia) when Homo sapiens spread from Africa.

His work helped explore our own evolutionary history and how humans spread around the planet. Neanderthals became extinct 40,000 years ago, but not before they had intermarried with those Homo Sapiens who from around 70,000 migrated to Europe and Asia. Denisovans also went the extinction route.

Sequencing of DNA from a 40,000-year-old piece of bone show that Neanderthals - who mostly lived in Europe and Western Asiagreater risk for hospitalization & respiratory failure during SARS-CoV-2 infections.

FASCINATING!
This noble prize for medicine gives you an opportunity to revise your knowledge on genes.

Europe and Western Asia - Neanderthal --- Europeans have been most violent: Remember something called 100-years war!
Siberia --> Asia - Denisovans
Mwafrika remained uncontaminated. We are pure-bred Homo sapiens and relatively peaceful. Our undoing is poverty.

This one is getting worst by day. With Nordstrom sabotage Ukraine should prepare for open season. Everything now is fair game. Mutual destruction. May the last man out of Kiev switch the lights off. All I hear Putin is done but the guy has hived almost half of Ukraine most arable land. Over 3 million refugees most well off Ukrainian have fled....how does losing look like? Poor mainshit media, all trash.

From my analysis these are retreating Russian forces that have been encircled,I told noway most of Russia forces in the east are encircled and are just sitting ducks to be ambushed very scaring, they are just sitting ducks.
You can tell just from this video the Ukrainians hold the surrounding territory and the Russians own just the higways and nothing else what General pundit calls going for the neck to chock it :D :D
Very poor doctrine that also saw tigray wipedout when he teied to move against adis ababa

Putin failed by not going to KIEV.
TDF failed by not going to Adis Ababa.
You want to kill a snake - choke it neck or hit it's head.
Dont waste time hitting the tail.
As long as KIEV is busy organizing and planning - Russian at the flaks are hopeless.
But if Russia was to hit KIEV parliament, statehouse, any gov building with long range missile.
Send Zelenksy to exile - it's over.
Have Lunch in Kiev - and then now sweep the leaderless rudderless country
Huge part of war is psychological.

British finished Nandi by going for Koitalel.

Russia have failed.
They should have borrowed US and British 'Shock and Awe'
Then deal with insurgency afterwards.
You dont start dealing with insurgency...they will drain you.

Go BIG initially and get them running.

This British war doctrine that US has perfected.
Hit them hard initially then deal with small battles at your pleasure.

For Putin to make gains now - he has to hit KIEV.
Otherwise he wont hold grounds at the flak.
KIEV is mobilizing and planning and strong.

Hiyo ilikuwa ndoto.
That window passed. There can be no element of surprise in Ukraine anymore. To get at Kiev, Russia will have have to establish superiority in the skies, which it does not have.
NATO & US has equipped Ukraine such that every major city has air defense systems consisting of anti-missile batteries and abundant supply of shoulder held missiles against low flying aircraft. For every 6 missiles fired, four are intercepted. Russia has thrown its best amour, and is fast depleting its missile stocks - pretty expensive, faster than it can replace them. Russia went into war with a 1980s mindset. Tanks once feared are sitting ducks to Javelins. War in 2022 is fought with air defense systems and drones.

Putin will never destroy Kievan Rus. Thats their origin , its their Mecca.
Putin will hit Western Kiev/Poland with Nuclear weapons its just a matter of time. When he said he is not bluffing he meant it.
You guys need to study Russian War Doctrine. Napoleon failed,Hitler failed and so will Biden.

Napoleon failed coz the Russia winter was responsible for more deaths than the actual fighting
Hitler failed coz of USSR winter, German troops froze to death.
It is not Biden boots on the ground.
How will Ukraine fail when Russian winter is also Ukraine winter?

Pundit don't be naive you assuming they intentionally refused to go to Kiev. It was the military resistance that forced them to change tact and go for the east of the country, Russian military doctrine just like tigray is outdated belongs in soviet era.
The worst thing to do when encircled or surrounded is break down into retreating in disarry, best gamble is to dig in and hold position fight as a cohesive force then some of you can make it while majority die but when you all break down into retreat chances are that you will be wiped out 100 percent just like this sorry convoy.
Basics of war Pundit is if you targeting a location you dont use the entire attacking force, half of it stays in reserve to support,UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU USE RESERVE FORCE AND MAIN FORCE SIMULTANEOUSLY TO CARRY OUT AN ATTACK. the reserve force only comes in to back and hold position, once you use up your reserve force you will now be vulnerable to the enemy who will wipe you out.
Best tactic is to attack for example with one company if enemy resistance is great call in the 2nd company to outflank enemy and try to put him out,if that doesn't work call in heavy aerial support and artillery,if that doesn't work HOLD POSITION,dont progress ,reserve force should relieve the first company which then falls out to be reserve for refitting and rest and so on making sure that your casualty rate is not high.

Nonsense. When you have an advantage; use it to the maximum;
Russian decimated Ukraine in first few months everywhere except where it mattered; Kiev.
TDF will regret not heading to Adis Ababa when they had the advantage.
Now both TDF and Russian must be prepared for a long bitter war that cannot be won.

Huge part of war is mind games. So when you have advantage; you better get the other guy running!
And there was no better opportunity for Russia than first week.
Nobody knew their weakness....now everyone Know Russia is old and rusty.
Ukraine clearly on the advantage now....and Russian will need something close to nuclear to change their fortunes.

British Conquered the world using this Shock and Awe strategy - Rapid dominance.

Armchair General Pundit. You live in a cocoon.
Russia was incapable of capturing Kiev.
Tigray was incapable of capturing Adis.
Thats the bitter truth and now the consequences follow for that failure.
For Russia although humiliating pulling out of Ukraine remains the only logical thing to do.
For Tigray negotiating a permanent pact with Abiy is only way out
There is No military solution in my opinion.

Nobody knew their capacity then.
That is all point of shock and awe. Its the SUPRISE element
You go BIG - and before the other guy discover it's a bluff - they are already in exile.
Adis Ababa was falling - western countries had evacuated.
They were 200kms - there was panic in Adis.
Then they pulled back.

Now both are dead. Russia is dead. TDF are dead.

If I was a military strategist - I would avoid conventional war - it's has no ending.
Few wars are won.
Those few - element of suprise is key.
Once everyone dig in the tunnels - even US of A lost to Afganis and Vietnames.
Now it's firing and bombing - firing and bombing - endlessly until economic implications become too much to bear.

Russia job was simple - finish Ukraine airforce - fly to KIEV and bomb all key installations.
Hunt for any gov official - kill them
Empty the town.
Let the leadership be in exile.

Then now head to flanks and carve it.

Surrender KIEV after peace pact - as it going to be difficult to hold it anyway.

Sorry to inform you, but this is a video game! Infact a propaganda clip shared online.

Putins biggest mistake was accepting Baltic states to enter NATO. Second biggest mistake was when Yankuvich then President of Ukraine in 2013 asked for Military help as per international law to quell Maidan revolution he never obliged. Third was after Crimea joined Russia and all Russian speaking regions all the way to Odessa wanted to join Russia he never supported it.
He is trying to rectify all that  . He will succeed but a big cost.
