Safaricom only covered Nairobi and Mombasa...so it doesn't stop mandera terror nor dent in big way national crime figures. This needs to be rolled out in all major cities going forward although it damn expensive.

And on watchmen I meant the sector is now formalizing with security companies hiring guards like in developed world rather than maasai with rungu.

Talk specific things you want to see done and maybe I'll start to understand what you mean by "yet nothing meaningful happens". Mutua has delivered more than 30kms of tarmac road in 3 months...that is meaningful change. Gakuo delivered meaningful change. Jubilee street electrification and 10B dollar project by safaricom to roll smart cameras with number plate recognition is meaningful change that has reduce alshabaab and criminal activities in kenya.

Kidero doesn't seem to have done anything worth talking about - maybe automating parking payment (Deputy Governor project).

Define what you want and maybe we can help you.

Ok, let's talk about the specific things which I would like to see being implemented.

We should, as a nation, first acknowledge the real problems, among them why simply replacing Kidero wouldn't change jack (remember 2002 and Kibaki's broken promises? Why did he break them? Why is Uhuruto breaking theirs, according to non-sycophants?).
