I think it is a good thing Mutunga left and now other political judges like Njoki and Ojwang should depart.

I have nothing personal against the Acting President but he has not impressed me by his pronouncements or legal opinion. Not that all should be top notch scholars but they should know their stuff at least better or as well as the advocates who come to plead before them

My money is on Nzamba Kitonga: good profile. CJ must be and be seen to be IMPARTIAL. Visram was tainted by the Kibaki botched appointment.

Kitonga is a Meru I think. How is it an issue? Funny it is what made me finger Visram, the ease of compromising merit for ethnicity. No way.

I have always thought he was Kamba. Some of those names between Meru and Kamba throw me off.
