....Ruto will campaign hard for a second term on his record, and if defeated, unlike any politician in the world, he will hand over power peacefully.
Shida yake Hekima ya urais. Raus gani husema wale amekula kuapo awalinde, wale walimpigia kura, wapigwe risasi ata kama ni ya miguu? All International.outlets have quoted him on this one, CNN, BBC, DW, Al Jazeera. Hekima bana ....You have been in government all your life and you couldn't find a better way to frame it?

People are not stupid man, these are goons supported by the government, transported by government and protected by government. This is Ruto trying to make Kikuyus destitute and desperate so the can come begging, it’s not going to happen, we withstood Moi for 24yrs and never begged him. I hear some of these goons cannot even speak kikuyu, they are being transported from other parts of the country, people are ready to fight them but they are protected by police, it’s okay, businesses will be rebuilt but change and Kasongo going home is inevitable. We know he will try to go down with the country so we are ready for it.
Kanja is the head of police and says otherwise. 250 arrested are locals and have no ties with the government. Own your homegrown goons and be proud of it; don't buy the propaganda peddled! When did the government hire mothers and kids that descended on NICE in Mwea and ate all the food, shit and stole everything as per the business owner? Ruto will campaign hard for a second term on his record, and if defeated, unlike any politician in the world, he will hand over power peacefully.

Who heads this uniformed force destroying a supermarket?

These song, these song, these song brings more bittersweet memories about these gel, these gel, these one gel I tells ya that I met at an African Houseparty around 2007. Chilled out music vibes, mature crowd. The difference between a club and a house party is the level of intimacy. You can chill out at one corner of the house or in the kitchen and get to talk to/vibe with someone new. The zikis aren't loud unlike in a club, which helps matters.

So there I was getting buzzed on a polite cup of Tanqueray on a sofa on one side of the room, folks dancing in the middle of the room. Perhaps about 30 or so people there that day. She was seated on the floor getting wasted on gin as well with her friends. She crawls up to my sofa with her buzzed smile and puts her elbows on my knees and we start talking. Instant connection while these song, these song, these song was playing.

We talked for like an hour nonstop and there was instant chemistry. Smart but introverted girl unless she's had a drink! Unfortunately, she had a boyfriend! She's currently happily married to an MIT trained computer geek from Naija and is my friend on FB but that doesn't take away from what happened on that one magical night between us!
