Raila - the AUC chair
« on: August 28, 2024, 10:11:53 AM »
Raila has already won AUC chairperson

There are 4 candidates- from Eastern Africa (Kenya, Djibouti, Mauritius, Madagascar)

Of 54 countries - about 6 dictatorships/military coups are suspended (Malis, Gabons, Nigers, Burkina Faso, Sudan)

That leaves us with 48 countries.

Remove 4 countries with their candidates

Raila needs 23/44 - he has 21 commitments.

Tanzania
Uganda
South Sudan
Burundi
Rwanda
Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
South Africa
Nigeria
Somalia
Zambia
Zimbabwe
Malawi
Seychelles
Ghana
Guinea-Bissau
Algeria
Angola
Congo

Raila will be spoilt to secure 2 more countries.
He can easily get all SADC - Lesotho, Swazi, Mozambique
Can easily get - Comoros Island.
He can also get few countries in West Africa - if Obasanjo and Nigeria pull their weight.
Can get one or two Arabs.

Kenyan bureaucrats are drama queens.

Nobody knew when Moussa Faki was elected and reelected or what he has been doing since 2017 as AUCC.

The campaign drama will work against babaman as the despots voting do not want a strong AUC to be pushing them or unsettling relations with Washington/Paris/London/Beijing the way globalist has done. Heh! Kenya and babaman are saying watakalia the despots. Tutaona.

I also expect babaman to self destruct as usual with some outbursts.

The people who don't want strong Africa are African voters and  corrupt officials in government from top to bottom,  nothing to do with Washington, or western capitals.

The only people who care about this AU nonsense are maybe some old almost fossilized Luos, the young ones do not care and so is majority of Kenyans. This is political drama from Kenyan politicians and most of them cannot even name the current chair. It’s a useless issue to distract Kenyans but they are not bothered. You think people who are sleeping hungry, businesses failing care about what an 80 yr old does? Wajinga wameisha Kenya!!! I think Kenyans have started awakening from their stupor, I haven’t talked to one single Kenyan who cares about this except the usual tribal pinheads on this site.

1) Ruto is an American project who has ruffled feathers with Somalia Morocco DRC while at the same time America has been vehemently disturbing African leaders like Abiy Ahmed Ethiopia Mnangangwa Zimbabwe etc.No African leader will want Ruto proxy Raila in that position.

2) The second factor is Muslim countries Will not want a situation where Ruto who has been supporting Gaza and Ukraine war Will have influence on Africa Union.Russia China and their Arab countries will talk with their African major trade partners like Rwanda Angola not to vote Raila.

In Fact i even don't think Nigeria Will support Raila who is being fronted by Tinubu political rival Obasanjo.

Raila will lose. This will be a major defeat after 2022.Between now and February 2025,His blood pressure and heart rate will be very high.I don't how he will handle his defeat very well knowing that he has lost alot of political support locally due to his association with Ruto government.

Museveni Kagame Salva Kiir are very cold hearted creatures who are very calculative politically. They have been in power for over 20 years. They don't want someone they can'T trust in that position. In public they will promise Raila support but on the secret ballot they  will vote against him and comfort him on his loss. They have to please Ruto because they import their commodities like weapons, oil and DRC smuggled minerals through Kenya and use kenyan banks to launder money therefore for the sake of their economies they have to support ruto in public but curse him in private.

I pity Raila. He will be rejected before the whole world. If he is wise, let him withdraw and feign poor health or service to his country.

I don't support Raila because he is a severely demented person, but I think since the President is fronting him to win Nyanza voters in 2027, Raila may actually pull it off. Ruto's projects always sail through because he does homework and actualizes it by any means necessary. I wouldn't be surprised if he had secured enough votes for Raila to win before he even started fronting him in the first place. If Raila doesn't win, he will likely still endorse Ruto for 2027!

Wacha madharau.
Even the old fossilized Luos before early 2024 would have never been able to name the chairman of the AU. That is a dead organisation. Even Raila will not be able to revive it.

Key thing standing against Raila is age... AU job should be taken more seriously than PORK. Ex-presidents like Kikwete are probably best suited with extensive networks and no power hangovers. It should not be a reward for failure.

Rails should have anointed a successor in ODM and retired quietly.  But then, this is all he knows.  Pursuit of power(in this case, prestige) seems to be something he is hopelessly wired for.
