So your thread is guesswork not 411. I think it is just judiciary doing it's job of ruling by law. I don't see Uhuru or deep state - they actually hanged Sonko themselves - despite having supermajority to override his budget veto - what makes you think they are scared? The vetting should tell us that more clearly.

They are definitely scared of a by election..so I hope judiciary allows to Sonko to continue as governor while the case is being heard like happen in embu .Nobody will suffer prejudice more than Sonko.

There is already an acting governor not a permanent DG. Sonko "prejudice" is limited to 60 days so I see no compelling reason for a judge to remedy it immediately. If he loses the case he is toast and can't vie probably anywhere for anything. If he wins he gets back the job. Where is the prejudice again?

1) He already lost governorship - despite being elected by 1 million people.
2) He risk loosing the chance to ever hold office.

If Sonko present evidence of fraud - including audios he is now unleashing - the court should revert him as governor - pending the hearing of the case.

There is evidence enough of Uhuru machination - starting with Badi - a military man as governor - and rigging of zoom vote (legally unchartered waters)
