Ouru wants to misuse the parliament for personal okuyu political reasons to snub his nose to the west even as he surrenders to their very whims.  It would have been better if he were to summon the parliament to  render his resignation, but he does not have the character to do the right thing.

If the charges are not dropped, new conditions set and government is forced to co-operate with prosecution and provide details in a timely manner to allow speedy trial then uhuru becomes a lame duck president navigating through ICC manenos. On second scenario it will all fall on Karangi to lead the country, we may go Egypt way, remember karangi was decorated by US military couple months ago.

btwn after westgate attacks or other terrorist attack did uhuru ever call for parliament special sitting?

I think its good for CORD Mps to refuse to be part personal legal matter and any attempt to make personal legal issue national issues

Read the constitution again. There is nothing VP. DPORK takes over for remainder of the term. This will happen if Uhuru was to be jailed for more than six months for instance. This is farfetched. ICC are not going to jail Uhuru.

I see the second scenario...more conditions and strict deadline to give bensauda what she wants. I do not see any circumstance in our constitution that would allow Karangi to overthrow the constitution and led a military gov. He won't last long if he attempted to execute a military coup.

I even he is arrested on other charges such as obstruction, witness tampering etc.

VP usage is out of old habits. Whats in a label? He could still be called VP with the same functions.
