Well, Kenya is now self sufficient, so it won't get to Moi paralysis of 90s - when donor funding was key. What really matters for Uhuru is legacy - and he starting to look like he will have none.

With COVID and with Ruto now sabotaging his gov - it will be chaotic next year.

Referendum hiyo nayo I doubt it will happen - another HUDUMA number mess- IEBC should get busy with boundary review.

You dont get RV, when a new U.S. ambassodor comes after U.S. election and starts sending cable reports back to State department what will follow is Visa cancellations and invidual sanctions to corrupt members and their family members and their companies.
You will see a dynamic change in Kenyan politics . The influential poltical families cant risk all the wealth they have amassed and invested especially abroad go like that. If it took only a Visa cancellation to make Raila look for Uhuru and handshake him , imagine banks and oversea companies  being sactioned.
As for Uhurus legacy he seems to have given up , he thinks only legacy he can leave is a referendumn and even with that he is not guaranteed to win.
