Supermarkets Pyramid Schemes
« on: August 11, 2020, 10:42:49 AM »
They are just pyramid schemes with suppliers as junkies.

Tuskys is the latest with the owners growing sukuma wiki  :D :D :D :D and paying themselves on the same day as other suppliers wait for months if not years. They were throwing out Githu for not learning the ropes fast - he has been paying the owners

Yes, I know someone who was dating Naivas girl and he was given tender to supply waru and rice :). The problem is lack of corporate governance. There is a lot of money in formal retail - that see these poorly educated shopkeepers owning billons kshs business

Supermarkets are legal pyramid schemes. Come the corruption of Kenya even in the private industry makes everything murkier. The owners or directors are at the same time the suppliers. Started with Uchumi under Chris Kirubi and then Nakummat. It is over for local supermarkets and let the foreign owned ones monopolise the market. Kenyans are too corrupt for this kind of economy that knows a lot of flowing cash.
