Kalenjins are not smart thieves, they plundered country 24 years with nothing to show today unlike Kikuyu who steal with a plan. Then more worrying is most kalenjins have met always think of kitu kidogo, they can't operate without a bribe. They need to cut these chains of corruption.

In the 24 years RV inhabitats we knew off were either in parastatals , Govt ministries , police or Defence forces their decendants are well off right now. You cant talk of the same in Mt Kenya .the only thing you hear off is the Kiraitus and Kenyattas i.e. the elite  increased their wealth from 2003 coming forward.

Millions of Gema folks are poor. A few Gema billionaires and millionaires cannot delete this fact. When Kenyans will learn to make the current goverment take responsibilty and not just support "mwizi wetu", then we will all make progress against poverty in the whole country.
Right now nobody is questioning the looting of the Covid-19 funds. Billions alledgely spent and little to show of it. The only goodness the pandemic does not know kabila. In the end all Kenyans will loose.

Personal responsibility is more important than gov responsibility. That is why Indians for example thrive in Kenya. Kenyans need to stop this political escapism and take charge of their lives..improve their lives...work hard, have kids you can sustain (1 or 2 ), educate kids, invest & save and in a generation, you'll be out of poverty.

Yes i agree too, but there is the basic setting that all kabilas have regardless of government looting. Even without looting some kabilas are poor than others i.e luhyas are poorer than GEMA?

Agree with Njuri Njeke...Gema testicular fortitude and ability to survive Moi 24yrs bloody reign...take power, seek no revenge and turn kenya into economic power house within few years is just unbelievable. If centro combines their brain power with Nyanza and western Kenya would take off again.
