movie Irish Man

I watched Irish Man movie last night. It was interesting to see the role that mafia played in destroying organized labor. It looks like this is story of how movements to counter capitalism end up being infiltrated by criminals and then destroyed by capitalists.  Looking at Teamsters leader Hoffa you come to understand that it is hard to fight the system using the same structures that it uses for survival and mobilization. I hope other organizations such a BLM could learn and be careful not to be co-opted.
One thing is was clear from the movie is that with a well structured organization you can take down capitalists you just have to be crafty and keep your cards close to your chest. Be cold as Jimmy the mafia guy.
Anyway it was nice to see how the Mafia got the Kennedy to believe the could be back to Havana by taking Tankies. The Kennedy's are scumbags that liberals tend to hold up as some type of saints. Anyway lowly criminals like the thugs from Philadelphia Mafia were able to run circles around GOP and democrats without any credible opposition. Hoffa was a lunatic
