Moses Kuria - Uhuru's endgame - BBI

‘Dictatorship Express’ Lands at KICC Today
Today marks another sad milestone in the race for deconstruction of our democracy. The Jubilee Parliamentary Group meeting to be chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta appears good from far but it is actually far from good. I will attend this meeting to record for my children and grandchildren the events that culminated in the death of our democracy and institutionalization of dictatorship. This will form additional chapters to the stories I give my children of how I was in the frontline in the streets in 1990 during the Saba Saba demonstrations and the subsequent second liberation movement that ushered in multiparty democracy. It will add to the epic stories of how I jpined others at a small room at Ufungamano in 1994 ti launch the Citizens for National Convention in a struggle that took 16 years and culminated in the 2010 Constitution to which I actively contributed. And today more than ever before I will be at KICC to witness the flagging off ceremony for the reversal of those gains
Make no mistake. Today’s Parliamentary Group meeting is no ordinary event. Jubilee as a party met three weeks ago, for the first time since the 2017 elections. The process of removing ‘nuisance’ irritants from the path of ‘Dictatorship Express’ began. This journey culminates today. It will most likely take less than the 27 minutes that was allocated for the previous PG. But what is the story behind the story in this charade. There are four hidden agenda that we will launch today
Firstly today is all about the Building Bridges Initiative. In contrast to 2010, we do not have a constitutional moment. Kenyans do not feel it. There is no oomph. The pregnant air of expectation and optimism that greeted the 2010 process is not there. The bipartisan and broadbased support that made us work together as a nation is simply not there. I recall co-heading the Communications Secretariat for 2010 with ODM’s Salim Lone while representing the PNU Alliance at that time. We were solidly behind Mwai Kibaki and Raila Odinga then. Today, Kenyans do not feel Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga as far the BBI is concerned. And I am in no way suggesting that all the intended changes are bad, but Kenyans simply are not in the mood. The economy is on its deathbed. Kenyans are hungry and broke. To make matters worse, the drafters of the BBI process forgot to add a section to legislate against COVID-19 so the pandemic could not have come at a worse time for the BBI. In this mix, the only safety net for the boring BBI is parliament. The ongoing purge is meant to secure that. Its over in the Senate. Today we will have Amos Kimunya as the new Majority Leader who will move the BBI Bill in the National Assembly. We will have Muturi Kigano as the new Chair of the Justice & Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) who will scrutinize the BBI Bill at the Committee. And we will have Kanini Kega as the Chair of the Budget & Appropriations Committee that will pass a supplementary budget to divert the Ksh 57 Billion meant for Economic Stimulus and appropriate the same for a sham Referendum. Thats the essence of today’s PG. For some reason this is such a high stakes game to be entrusted to Aden Duale, William Cheptumo and Kimani Ichungwa.
Secondly after this ‘Dictatorship Express’ will move to the hallowed corridors of justice at the Judiciary. The failure to appoint the 41 judges is a smokescreen. The real issue is the replacement of the Chief Justice David Kenani Maraga whose term ends in December this year-2020. A Deep State Chief Justice will be unveiled to not only agree to a repeat of the hiring process but also work on two other deliverables- The complete weaponisation of the criminal justice system and the politicization of the war against corruption. In the BBI Report, the Chief Justice will be removed from the Judicial Service Commission. This will facilitate full stranglehold of the Judiciary by the Deep State. With the 2022 General Elections in 2 years time, one will have to be out if their minds to want to file a petition in such a judiciary.
The third terminal for ‘Dictatorship Express’ will be at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). The demonization of Chairman Wafula Chebukati and the two remaining commissioners will shortly begin in earnest. First, the BBI report will recommend that IEBC commissioners be picked by political parties. This has been the long held desire of Raila Odinga. He fervently fought to introduce the same in the 2016 Kiraitu-Orengo Committee of which I was a member. His irresistible force almost succeeded but encountered an immovable object in the person of President Uhuru Kenyatta who maintained, and rightly so that there politicization of an electoral commission is a recipe for chaos and disaster. Today with the irresistible force working with the immovable object, they have closed ranks and agreed on politicization of the Elections Management Body. Parties will nominate commissioners. So we will have Uhuru Kenyatta nominating the Jubilee Commissioners after the total take-over of the Jubilee Party. Raila Odinga, Alfred Mutua, Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi and Isaac Ruto will do the sane for ODM, MCC, Wiper, KANU and CCM. Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula will be asked to jointly nominate one commissioner. You can now see why there is a mad rush to sign coalition and cooperation agreements. The new look IEBC must be in place before the Referendum. There is no way Wafula Chebukati and his measly IEBC of two commissioners will be allowed to steer the Referendum
Fourthly and finally, to ensure the first three stops for ‘Dictatorship Express’ are as smooth as possible, going forward we will see zero tolerance of any form of dissent. The militarization that has been carried out successfully in Nairobi County through the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) will be rolled out in other sectors in quick succession. The NMS will be heralded as the epitome of efficiency with a view to making military rule not only a possible prospect but also a plausible alternative. With the most sensitive state organs being stewarded by the military and intelligence veterans, the scale up of this militarization will not pose a major challenge. It will not be surprising for example to see all political parties nominate the ‘super efficient’ ex-military commissioners to the IEBC
So today, fellow Kenyans, as we go for the PG at KICC you can choose to get some popcorn and enjoy the show. Or you can be very worried for yourself, your children and our collective future. You can choose to rationalize everything using tribal and ethno-supremacist lenses like I have regrettably done in the past at the behest of others. If you think democracy is an imperfect system, try boarding ‘Dictatorship Express’ .

Was that not the same Moses Kuria, who in 2017 mocked Chris Musando, the then CIO of the IEBC, as he lay in some city mortury murdered by the people Kuria helped set an illgeal regime?
Moses Kuria has stood for all the bad elements in the Jubilee regime. He has helped stock up ethnical hatred with his comments against particular groups of Kenyans and now he wants us to believe he is sincere in his quest for democracy in Kenya.

:D :D ohh the beauty of social media! Their tweets and glee in praise of the "dictatorship" is all over. Kuria shamelessly supported EJK and asked Mungiki to behead Luo. I doubt his hate speech cases are over. Together with Muthama anti-Kikuyu bile... and Wahome. Alice whined the other day on twitter about "mtoto wa nyoka" - photos and videos of her assaulting IEBC officer and in full military regalia promptly surfaced. Someone wondered if she was referring to her own kids she is clearly a slimy, grim, venom- spewing viper herself. Nyoro is the other straight shooting inciter now singing democracy when the shoe is on their foot.

Kuria should lie low like an envelope - preaching democracy really :o - that video of him wielding a machete telling youths its purpose is not only chopping grass but heads as well! still fresh in our memories. Hii makelele waachie Mdvd na Weta - they are much better pretenders.

This is very petty and defeatist arguments. People changing their positions over what they see is a normal human impulse. One moment you are craving coffee the next you don't want to see coffee. Even love- seems most will rather stick to death with a serial killer just because they were loved him and are not allowed to shout this is a serial killer once you witness a murder.

What is going on is suicidal even for Uhuru Kenyatta supposed interests.

Seems they are ready to lie low as long as they are also enjoying crumbs. They are just reminding Uhuru what he has always told them for 10 years. Raila ni muguruki. Yangu tano Ruto Tano.

gout what they are doing is mourning the Jews while still sporting Nazi uniform. These jokers cannot pretend to love Wanjiku - they need to at least shed the old skin - as true chameleons or snakes :) - before masquerading as new breed. Maybe wasimame na Takataka Express - plead their case with Kenya how their awakening is different.

Worst part is their leader Mobutu faithfully boards the Dictatorship Express - smiling at PG for photo ops. How would he protest the tribalism when he graced the oathing ceremony?

true. kuria, like many others vying for 2022 well-buttered toast, speaks through both sides of the mouth depending on how he sees his benefits. he can not talk about dictatorship while he has all along been advocating for the annihilation of those who were perceived not to be part of the deep-state he was in. i am sure he will jump ship once he realizes mambo kwa ground is very different from his ali-baba % 40thieves camp. it is all about political survival and the package very well includes hypocrisy. meanwhile, mobutu may be an non-issue in by the start of 2022. you cant fight state-machinery unless you are crazy. they have all resources to mute you using many invisible hands.

Ouru slept for too long.  He let Ruto into his bedroom and literally slept with his wife. He has a lot of cleaning to do. He wanted to do so to Raila in Nyanza but Raila kept him out, except in Migori where he was able to get obado.  However, RAO kept Obado under leash  Raila also kept him out of western and coast, half of NBO.  Ouru on the other hand slept for too long, but now he has to clean his backyard.  Ruto is like a cancer in Ourus backyard and the son of Jomo has to surgically remove it from his backyard.  I hope he is up to the job.  He has to be ruthless and he must not succumb to calls for Democracy. People like Ruto are not democrats and they use democracy only when it favors them.  Ouru must really be relentless and brutal with these Ruto people otherwise Ruto will take away his legacy. His legacy should be cleansing Gema from Ruto.

I got a better idea. He should just assassinate him. You guys are truly amazing. If Ruto won any support - he worked for it - maybe he bribed here and there - but overall he put in the hard work. Corona has slowed him down and allowed the Lazybones to catch up though.

Ouru slept for too long.  He let Ruto into his bedroom and literally slept with his wife. He has a lot of cleaning to do. Ruto wanted to do so to Raila in Nyanza, Coast and Nairobi but Raila kept him out of his crucial territories. In Luo Nyanza, Ruto only managed to put a little foothold in Obado,  but RAO kept Obado under a shot leash and Obado did not do too much damage.   Raila also kept Ruto out of western and coast and did not allow Ruto to take total hold of NBO.  Ouru on the other hand slept for too long, but now he has to clean his backyard.  Ruto is like a cancer in Ourus backyard and the son of Jomo is going to have a tough time surgically removing him.  Ouru has to be absolutely ruthless and he must not succumb to hypocrital calls for Democracy. People like Ruto and his followers are not democrats but they will exploit  democracy  when it serves their selfish interests.  Ouru's legacy is now cleansing Gema from Ruto.

After the way Ruto brutally had Juma and Msando murdered, it would be sweet revenge to their  families.

I got a better idea. He should just assassinate him. You guys are truly amazing. If Ruto won any support - he worked for it - maybe he bribed here and there - but overall he put in the hard work. Corona has slowed him down and allowed the Lazybones to catch up though.

I can understand Juma. He had beef with Ruto. But Msando - would have to be Uhuru's. It was his election to lose.

I think the Ruto's connection to Msando's death comes from his connection to Moses Kuria and the way Kuria acted when Msando was missing.  But think about it, Ouru's second term was more important to Ruto than even Ouru himself.  Had the elections not been stolen in 2017 as it was in 2013, Ruto's obssessive dream of PORKhood  would be dead.  He was the biggest beneficiary of the stolen presidency from RAO thats why he see's RAO's shadows everywhere.  Ruto had played a good game until  he went too far going into Ouru's bedroom and trying to make Ouru a lame duck presient on his first day of his 2nd term.  He fucked this up big time all by himself and he has no one to blema-Karma is a bitch. If he were a luo, it would have been understable- Ujaluo. How do you explain this kind of behavior from a kalenjin who are stereotyped for knowing how to lie low as an envelop like Moi did.  I think Ruto hanged out with luos too much during his ODM days.

Moses Kuria is a windsock. You cannot kill somebody and be around to discover his car. ODM and NASA are just a bunch of morons - the worst I have seen - because they all donated their brains to Raila. Kuria has NOTHING to do with the death of Msando. Msando like Jacob Juma was killed by Professional hitmen with connections with gov. Yes during Msando's death a few people had been kidnapped and killed in that forest...but fact that gov has never found the killers...means the gov killed them (NIS, CID, Harambee hse, Statehouse)

As for Ruto - Ruto overcalculated. The war he has faced stems right from Jubilee nomination when oversaw a rout of most of GEMA MPs, governors and Senators. They have never forgiven him. First, they loudly complained to Uhuru - and they went as far as forming independent jubilee thing for independent candidates. They all got floored by Wananchi save for 1 or 2 in the real election. Only Waria and Wambora survived that nomination rout.

Murathe was supposed to work with Tuju to run nomination. They failed. I guess they had eaten money from existing MPs and governors...and never really intended to run a nomination.  They were busy selling Smart Cards and other bone-headed ideas...that was supposed to be used in Nomination.

There is a lot of conspiracy but facts are stubborn. Tuju and Murathe sc.rewed up Jubilee nomination so much -in my area - by 2pm - there were no papers. Before that Chirchir had run very "good" URP elections and folks all over the country were amazed. Nomination are not supposed to be that great - but at least deliver ballots papers and plastic bags :)

Uhuru gave Ruto the assignment to fix the mess. He goes to Pangani and sleeps there. He orders the idiots Tuju and Murathe to go home.

Now as you see in Jubilee - the genesis is that - Murathe/Tuju merging with GEMA losers - to spread rumors about Ruto overshadowing Uhuru and having nefarious schemes.

The reality - in GEMA - Murathe and Tuju nominations were a semblance of success in central - and when the repeat was ordered (Ruto) - the verdict was the same- when Chebukati did his thing - the same results.

But the losers always want to blame someone. So they started their little conspiracy and bitterness...and told Uhuru that Ruto was a dangerous man who had invaded his bedroom.

But they will fail. These are well-known drunkards who cannot run a kiosk. Just like Raila.

So basically this is an alliance of losers...in Jubilee and NASA..all bitter with Ruto. Instead of finding out what they did wrong to Wananchi..they have turned their bitterness to Ruto.

Seems only Kiambu former Governor learned the lesson from Wananchi...the rest is still out there blaming all the misfortune of Ruto.

The problem is not Ruto. The problem is their own people. Ruto if there is anything he knows Kalenjin for example hated Moi for influencing local elections. Ruto has seen many of his friends lose nominations.  He has seen many of his enemies win - look now at least a dozen don't like Ruto but won- like my friend Alfred Keter.Ruto won Kalenjin support and confidence - 7 sub-tribes by staying the fuc.k out of the nomination and local issues.  Raila basically interferes like Mois.

Now the beauty in this fight - GEMA people know the issues - they know the losers are bitter - for being kicked out by them - NOT RUTO.

The beauty - Ruto will do to GEMA what he did to Kalenjin - he will replace the dynasties with power of the people. 20 yr old GEMA kids will become governors. Nobody will care whom their mother or father is. 90 yr old will win on merit. Nobody will care who you are....but the wanjiku will rule.

I was able to read some sense through your obvious political biases and pettiness. Do not count on Kikuyu masses sticking with Ruto for too long.  That would be another miscalculations. That Kenyan politics is tribal has not been repealed.
