Very impressive from KU. Another ventilator
« on: April 11, 2020, 02:02:42 PM »
It seems that this covid 19 could have a positive side. 16 students from KU have come up with a working ventilator.
Now that we cant import stuff from China we are forced to innovate very fast.

They seem to have a better grasp of what's involved than the other group that was showcasing connecting a crankshaft to a motor.  Pulling all the relevant expertise from different departments.  Good job.

This group is a little different from the crankshaft group.  They recognize the interdisciplinary nature of what is required.   Specialization seems to be in play.
