Was Mugabe always a cruel man pretending to be a revolutionary. Nothing in his rule points to him being anything but a man obsessed with power and a cruel man. You would think he would have created conditions to have elites that could take over from him. However he stayed till the army intervened when all the chips were done. People praise him from land repossession but it is like rift valley praising moi for land clashes. I read somewhere that his mother told people that Mugabe that didn't know how cruel Mugabe was. This was way back before Zimbabwe became independent and Mugabe was just a nobody.

Anyway even his death is Singapore points to a man who was just selfisj and cared less about his country

Many of the black Zimbabweans who took part in grabbing the land from the Whites were themselves  later displaced by the top party and military elite.

Mugabe faced the problem head on.A very very tiny white pop owned 85% of the land.South Africa have tried like Mugabe to postpone the problem but it's getting worse and worse.The more the delay the more the desperation.Eventually Malema will be elected and he will act.Now Trump looking at South Africa ready with sanctions if he touches the whites, the blacks are attacking other Africans.This had to be done.Mugabe had waited from 1975 to 2002... that nearly 30yrs..of patience.Mugabe will forever remain an African hero. The economy will one day sort itself but zim will be a black country.If land was not important why did the whites places sanctions on Zimbabwe.Remove the bloody sanctions and Zimbabwe will rise.South Africa need to hasten their independence by kicking out the boer like yesterday.There are things that just need to be done and consequences be damned...this is like standing your ground against a huge powerful bully.Africans with little education like kimathi did it.His only mistake was to imagine he was only one who could do it.Other Zimbabwe leaders would eventually have kicked the whites out.The situation was untenable.Look at South Africa...some Amin will eventually rise and do the needful.Africa belongs to Africans just like Europe belongs to Europeans.

I rather a starving Zimbabwean than an enslaved or colonized Zimbabwean.Poverty is not comparable to slavery or racism or colonialism.No slave in US ever died of starvation and yet slavery is more egregious than poverty and famine.If it was just about food...we could accept the colonial powers..and we would  walk bowed with full bellies.Sometimes idiots like you just blurt out half thought nonsense.Human beings are not animals like cows that you just fatten so they can toil.Humans are thinking primates.Their stomach  needs are no lesser than their brains needs.We are not cows or monkeys despite several attempts to dehumanise black Africans.We have higher needs.We have higher ideals.Why should a Zimbabwe man work for a white person in Zimbabwe...even if he is earning some income.Why can't he be land owner even if only knows rudimentary agriculture.Humans are not just animals.They are thinking animals.
