Vancouver's lovely, with family anywhere- such a joy. Sounds like you'll be having a hearty break.

I'll be cruising with my dear mama. .. I've just been looking at some shore excursions in NZ. .. lots of hobbit related tours. .. not sure if I'd be a fan but I booked the 'Weta cave tour' https://www.wetaworkshop.com/visit-us/workshop-tours/
