If all governors are thieves and murderers then luos are getting preferential treatment since their thieves and murders are being caught quicker. Obado should not even think of getting out until all the money he stole from Migori people is returned back to them.  While they are in Luo Nyanza, they should be looking at Homa-Bay, Ksm and Siaya. For the first time luos should be treated like first class citizens.  The handshake is working.

I have no idea.  How many governors have accused their predecessors of theft, setting aside the fact that some former governors who appear to have been looting elsewhere long before they took up their "exalted" positions?   How many former or present governors appear to have orchestrated the murder of their lovers (and unborn children)?

What is the overall argument anyway?   That "our unsavoury characters are getting nabbed while theirs are getting away with it"?   That doesn't work for me.   How about  "now that you have nabbed ours, one hopes that you will get the others too"?

It would be nice if before "our people!", we had "innocent! couldn't have done it! good man! pillar of the community!".

In your shoes, I would have gone for the simpler option of just changing "moonki-if" to "omollo-if".   Pussy.

I do not think Obado is getting away with this one.  Everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong-Murphy's law. 1)bad timing-war against impunity-He is god sent to so many people 2) he bungled this up so badly 3) he is a Ruto man in Raila country during handshake. You can go on and on. He is a cursed man. His family and friends should sneak hemlock to him in Jail instead of food.  I take that back.  He is innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.  While the newspaper reports about the facts unearthed so far about the murder case may not be accurate, the public record of the billions he stole from Migori people are accurate. I cannot get over that. That is why I do not understand why its important whether he is prosecuted before or after those who have stolen more.
