George Bush(Jnr) did great for Africa.

Obama had not courage to stand up for Africa.

Your problem is you have never lived out of Kenya. You have no idea of what racism is all about. That is why you have the guts of defending racist Chinese practicing their bad manners in Kenya.
Had Obama tried anything to do for Africa, the GOP would have been on his neck. It was better that way and now he can use some leverage to achieve some things for Kenya. Also remember by the time Obama became president the US had big economic issues like never before since 1928. Obama's main agenda was fix the USA and not the world. He did a good job and that is why a zombie like Trump can takeover and claim everything good for himself.

You just described a coward. He lack the courage the stand up to the racist. Obama was powerful POTUS and if he couldn't help kenya & Africa then - he should just retire and find another hobby. Obama legacy as far as Africa goes is in tatters.

The man is totally useless. Chinese have helped this country so much in the last decade - they deserve to be cut some slack.

Obama failed Africa period. Killed Gaddafi, destroyed Libya and stole their gold and sovereign wealth. Thanks to Obama now we have flourishing slave trade in Libya. The same coward could not intervene in Congo where millions have been slaughtered all because of minerals which American multinationals need. Even in Kenya, Obama did zero his administration became conduit of corruption money his chief of staff podesta became Kenya government lobbyists, icc trials crumbled, Euro bond money disappeared and then Obama pushed for some military crop dusters sale to kenya. Egypt same thing...Niger and central Africa same case. Obama was nothing but a political conman.

It doubtful it grew. USAID budget been pretty much constant. It was just spared the cuts. If Obama cared about America - why is he now running around trying to start Obama fund that will probably target Africa. Why is he coming to Kenya now? He should get busy in US and become as insular now as he was before.

Obama's first priority was the 06-09 financial meltdown. After that Obamacare. Then Congress was won back by the Rethugs and he had no power to write off debt. Clinton tried to write off $70B African debt and Rethugs in Congress refused.

Don't view Obama from the tribal-nepotist African perspective that sees huge budget diverted to Kiambu or Nyeri where PORK hails from.

The biggest gift a US or foreigners can give Africa is huge infrastructure (Chinese) and taming corruption and dictatorship. The biggest Obama mess was the murder of Gaddafi and the subsequent Libyan mayhem. We're glad Egypt survived the Brotherhood nonsense after the Mursi tragedy.

Obama mostly failed his family. His sister was deported as an illegal immigrant

while his aunt died somewhere in the NY ghettos of treatable ailment. Too poor to afford even Obamacare. Well, with family he could still help.

As for Kenya or Africa, Obama and any westerner is welcome to assist with the war against corruption. He no longer has any power beyond lobby.
