Can a social engineering be done to improve race relations
« on: June 22, 2018, 03:22:37 AM »
In my life I have never seen such a social defect like racism. tribalism in Kenya that experienced being meted on others by fellow kikuyus was not institutionalized. It was most due to cultural ignorance. At the end of the day even the hard core tribalist would never do anything that would harm another person' due to tirbe..there was indifference but nothing more than that..however American racism is raw it is just something you feel in your gut and soul and make you sick..it is a institutionalized hate. I really pity African Americans they are hunted down by racism..right now the white man institutions are focused on Latinos ..the only good thing is some Latinos defect the be whites..you will notice arseholes from Peru and other south Americans countries will adopt a white personal and culture..

I wonder if anyone has any social science literature that can be used to cure  this malady ..if you meet most super intelligent minority kids they will tell you how troubled they are by racism and being seen and treated as other..one of my good friends a very extroverted Asian millennial was so troubled especially when she moved From American northwest to east only to find that race in the east governed relations..coming to terms that she will have to be known by her enthnicity not personality was hard..I had to sit her in middle tof the corporate office and let her know that race was everything in the east and it will dictated her dating,  work and other aspects of life.

The poor girl was shaking like a leave..she had gone to charity event and one of the ladies had questioned her about her heritage..she knew there and then it was a coded message she was the other and she needed to explain herself...

WEB dubois was way ahead of time when he said the color line with be the greatest problem of 21st century for America..I read souls of blackmen and it just proves we gone to far but fallen too short..

I was glad to do for this lady what a Jewish manager did for me. He saw me reading black Enterprise magazine and told me to explore opportunities available for minorities..he sat me down and told me that africans are lucky because they confuse the American racist. He told me that an American racist is socialized to hate African Americans.so his or her ear and eyes are always open looking for the AA to hate. However for africans the racist gets confused.coz the play book doesn't include the African in this hate socialisation..

I pity African Americans..they need un protection

Is everything ok GC?

I agree in the States there's a deep hatred by some whites for african americans. Nothing like tribalism.

I believe to combat racism is education and exposure. I've met educated individuals who are racist because they've been living in a bubble and lack the exposure to become better people. I've also met widely exposed individuals who are racist because they're not educated and judge people like how a child does without meaning. Then there are conservative individuals who are fixated on preserving tradition because they haven't been in a situation without privilege. Also individuals who are fixated in blaming different skin colors for their own lack of self worth.

I believe racism is purely a social construct rooted in a primal instinct to survive. Those who are elevated beyond savagery see beyond colors. I think it is a journey of self that leads to a state of consciousness not all reach, in which determines the gradations of racism and where one sits in that socially constructed gradation.

I'm sorry to hear the poor girl was shaking like a leaf but she needs to have thicker skin. She needs to speak like a native and respond in a manner that's confident with a sprinkle of terse. Particularly in asian culture. No asian is pure bred, they are a mixture of everything like whites and blacks spanning back to monkeys. Please advise her in future, if ever asked about her roots, dismiss it and ask if they take English lessons and have they ever left the country (if they are educated), or did they graduate from school (if they are widely travelled). There are so many ways to not get offended by offending them first if he/she displays racist dispositions. There are no high horses when it comes to racism, racists need to be offended regularly to compel them into conforming to social graces.

I agree to a point. However, there is still a big silent and undercover racists. These are the type that are dangerous. They are educated and are in leadership positions..the poor racist has very little power to harm but the other powerful racist can harm..then you have institutionalized racism that people like Clinton even with all their education and good intentions couldn't understand..

The Asian girl had fought back and only came to me to raise the issue . She was also confronting a conservative woman who was with her at the event and was trying to justify her conservative racist friends actions towards her..I ended up cursing up the vice president of finance and fightijg his way all the way to the boardroom. The fucker just got canned 4 months ago and this girl has been promoted and placed for work under the CFO...

One thing I have learnt is what you just advised the only language a racist understands is destruction. You wait and to get evidence and take them on..I just started a whispering campaign recorded the idiot saying outrageous things then all at sudden I resigned and I let everyone know why I did it

The management was looking for a reason to get rid off the moron and once they got it they demoted him and then canned him

Wow GC, I didn't realise you were such a gentleman. Bravo! :D

I don't bother with evidence, not worth my time. Yes, destruction. I would've just pulled the conservative woman's hair and thrown my drink at her because that's what she deserves. It's really the only language passive racists understand because they're savages and need to evolve. Too many good people take the high road when it comes to these things, but history has shown, civil disobedience leads to change and not civil obedience. Good people shouldn't be afraid to be wolves. Case in point:

Victory is determined with the alpha wolves. GC would you consider yourself an alpha wolf?

I agree. Our tribalism is like football mania. People don't hate each other, they act like people belonging to different football clubs. When the league games start, they quickly segragate into their football groups and insult each other and grab bragging points but after the games its all over and they go back to normal life. It's not hatred. So, just replace league games with elections and you will see thats how Kenyan tribalism operates. Its actually very silly but also not very "real" on a certain level. I've encountered some White folk who've sent chills down my spine with the beliefs they hold. I think it's the difference between encountering someone who, like I said, is from a rival group versus encountering someone who doesn't see you as a human. I'm glad to say its not all of them but the ones who are this way are scary. I am honestly convinced its diabolical/Satanic. No wonder Hitler went as far as he did.

I was told it was caretaker wife. I knocked on her door she refused to opening..I went in my apartment got a taser and a hammer..I knocked the caretaker door with a hammer. I asked her the open the laundry room or I taser her..she  opened the door and tried to throw my clothes out I pointed taser on her her..she ran  back into her apartment and called her son's..they came back two of them I got a base ball bat and backed them all the way to their mum's aptartment this was before smartphonest it was I think 1998..so some int Mexican neighbors went to hte apartment flashed the woman and her son's out called the police and had them arrested..all this time the woman was calling everyone nigger this and that..she was charged and the judge gave her I think 2 years Probation..the bitch was an alcoholic so she violated the probation and ended in jail..this bitch had terrorized Mexicans and Kenyans girls living in the complex for Eon

I will go to court house get the paperwork on this case .it was interesting facing the bitch in court.the judge was raving mad and said if the law allowed him the bitch would serve a long time

I don't agree it's worse or different than tribalism.  In some cases racism is worse, in others tribalism is.  It really is the same thing.  Members of one group feeling exceptional relative to another.  It's a universal human trait.  Yes, even that starving Pokot is glad that at least he is a Pokot and not a Kikuyu.

It becomes a problem when it is used to make policies that affect everyone's domain.  Tutsis in Rwanda lived in a literal hell during Habyarimana's regime.  Barely a few months ago, some people were perfectly fine with "Luo" children being clubbed and shot to death.

Otherwise I totally agree that there is no explaining America, now, then and in the future away from the black(increasingly the brown) question.  Every important policy be it welfare, healthcare - public spending in general - happens the way it happens because this country has the largest black population(both size and proportion) of any western country.
