The handshake is under attack.  And not by kamwana.  The 2022 calculations depend on the status quo being intact.  Emasculated courts being key and vital.  Ethnic polarization along current lines is also desirable.  Croocked IEBC to remain untouched.  The easiest way of doing that is to undermine the camaraderie between Raila and Uhuru.

The path is too murky otherwise.

Miguna woes lies squarely on Raila and kamwana lap. Raila can pretend as much as he want but once you take blood money it's like you lose all your reasoning faculties.  Watching from far how Raila will wiggle himself out of this mess.

If you thought Uhuru give a f about the handshake then you got some more thinking to do. UhuRuto just wanted to finish NASA and now that mission is nearly accomplished - there is really no need to have Raila on the dinning table with his bad manners.

The Miguna saga only makes sense as an attempt to trash the handshake.  It makes no sense for kamwana to be behind it.  Yes, there are factions.  But not the way you put it.

Maybe but I do not think the people doing they are that smart.  The ego thing makes more sense to me.  This are men used to intimidating and torturing people into submission.  They cannot therefore "allow' and in-your-face, boisterous MM to win. There whole manhood depends on it. This is obviously not a well thought out plan because it is damn.  It is true that the handshake is now in big trouble but I think it is an unintended consequence on the part of the people doing this. MM however wins all the way. He managed to slow down the dialogue,  expose the actions of the despots as barbaric and heartless,  gained more fame and credibility in the national and international stage and will win an immediate lawsuit against Emirates and against the Kenyan government at an opportune time. Miguna is now a mainstream politician and not fringe anymore. Hopefully the drugs that the animals injected in him does not do to him what was done to matiba and many others who have been maimed by such animals that some people here adore so much.
