Throwback to December 2007 Where were you?
« on: December 28, 2017, 07:21:33 PM »
It is now 10 years behind but the days from 28-31 determined where we are now.
The 27th I was in Kaptimbor, kabarnet drinking some cheap hard stuff as people lined up tyo vote. Was interested in Benazir Bhutto assasination but nobody was giving it any meaningful attention. I had to get out of Kabarnet by Saturday the last day Kivuitu was to be in charge of counting. Going into that Saturday night Raila had a million gap and we had to be chased from a Maili Kumi-Bahati bar (Office) after being stripped our ODM T-shirts. That Office bar maid was really hot 8) By Sunday morning the numbers had magically changed - the first tyrany of numbers. The rest is as they say is history.

2007 is the year when Kenya had no New Year's Eve.

That is the date the nation cracked and then 2013 is when the wedges were hammered into the cracks and the nation started to drift apart. I do not see an acceptable solution to both sides and that is why I think both sides should focus on discussing amicable ways to further divide this country into autonomous regions which can negotiate on their own how to join a bigger East African Union. I am convinced that under the current superiority/domination attitudes of Kalenjins and Kikuyus, the Kenyan nation as we used to know it is unworkable.

From your side of the divide, I am sure that is what it looks like especially when wearing the lenses of arrogance and sense of entitlement.

Precisely. ..based on CS Eunice Wamalwa treatment by his own Luhya people and Kalonzo statement yesterday it's clear to see 70% of the population have refused to accept and move on. Jubilee idea of buying NASA politicians looks useless and dumb at this point. The resistance movement is an organic people driven movement.

Kichwa prepare for Ruto 10  and stop panicking. Those empty threads are laughable but for my good manners.Uhuru will continue as party leader aka supreme leader aka advisor till 2032 earliest.Get used to it.Power concede nothing.Raila had half a chance and he blew it in 07 and 13.Watch the son of the gun WSR as he takes one shot at it and nails it.Just coz Gema machinery has overwhelm you guys is no good reason to quit....coz youll find your match again in another place...strategize .Look at you people the nuers and luos of south sudan...from arabs to dinka domination. In your new dream country the luhyas will dominate.

I was on uni holiday and recall being cautioned not to venture past Westlands. My folks lived at Kiuna. Nai was gloomy as hell, it was horrifying to watch local channels. I recall a shaken Kikuyu neighbor saying the young Kalenjin Ruto was a demon straight from hell :D

It's Ruto 10 but I doubt Uhuru will be around as party leader. He's not the brain behind Jubilee and they only need him for 2022.

In Kenya a few months before.. then screaming online in solidarity with you guys, vicious cyber attacks, I think I lost 3? computers, more bans on some other forums, TRV sacrificed/deleted his username in protest for banning me.. they were truly extraordinary times... I have screenshots but of course buried for reasons... to quote the Hunger Games... if we burn you burn times. I think we netters also promulgated fake news ie. RVP. I credit RVP for fake news as powerful political weapon. Too forward for the ICC at the time to figure out ....

That's the thinking in Ruto's world.  Outside Ruto's world, he is finished as far as presidential ambitions are concerned.

Me neither. Nobody seems to care except maybe a few who stand to gain or loose.

Ababu has lost a lot of credibility politically given his constituency and he is headed the Eugene Wamalwa direction.  The miscalculation is that everybody  on Jubilee side are making is that just like in the past, the aggrieved will accept, forget and move on. Ababu will get a useless cabinet position that will not help him politically.

Kichwa a cabinet position (and the "opportunities" thereof) is the ultimate dream of a Kenyan polutician. In this case Eugene and Balala and their ilk are quite successful.

I am sure they think so but I was expressing my opinion and not theirs.
