I passed by Anniversary Towers on U/Way at about 1600H and all I saw was bored journalists and some teargas remnants in the air

Does a protest need to have hoardes of baying public to become a protest?   There used to be a one man anti Iraq war protester outside Westminster until the last British soldier left Iraq.

It is widely known that NASA are actively protesting against the thieving bastards at the JEBC.

We need crowds.
Remind me when last anything short of crowds protesting yielded anything on this Negro island called Africa let alone Kenia

If I understand these folks right, they want NASA to take part in the repeat of an election without making demands on IEBC.  Not even an audit of what went wrong last time.  The Westerners are convinced the Kenyan does not deserve anything of the sort and want to get back to business as usual.

If I were NASA I would officially pull out, that way it becomes more or less official that Kenya is now a dictatorship.  Participating in anything less than a transparent and verifiable election merely provides a veneer of legitimacy for autocrats.

Of course the jubilant would go ahead with the election and swear himself in.  However with NASA in, he would still do the same thing, while claiming some sort of mandate in a "free and fair" election.

What part of the statement helps you arrive at this conclusion?

The part that says boycott threats, political demands, ... undermine IEBC's ability to hold a new election.   One of the first few paragraphs.

Precisely.......you must deny them legitimacy and pretense of democratic free and fair elections.  For many years we have been blaming the victim, Kenya voter for voting for impunistas while all along the impunistas have been imposing themselves on Kenyan voter.   No need to take part, waste time and money on a pre determined contest.

It is clear IEBC, the jubilant or envoys will have no truck with anything more than going through the motions.  There is a whole lot of patronizing nonsense going on in that letter that would leave anyone who still believes bazungu really care about the African bewildered.  Where does one get the gall to feel they should force people to participate in an election?

You said CORD will achieve nothing and Isaack Hassan would stay put. I guess you got that right too?
Of course. Unlike you I get it wrong so rarely you remember it all.
You also predicted that the Supreme Court would throw out the petition, do you recall?
