The KIEMS. That's why. The French company said they are not interested in hearing stories of failure again, it tarnishes their name.

When Raila suggested 24th, they almost went ballistic crying crocodile tears over children doing exams.

I can sympathize with that.  Safron may be completely clean as far their end of the deal is concerned, when you exclude the possibility of bribery to get the deal in the first place.  So maybe their reputation, in terms of what they can deliver is actually being ruined by the actions of people inside IEBC.  They deliver the technology.  They don't control what you do with it.  My hunch is there is no upgrade needed in the KIEMS kit but rather an upgrade of the IT decision makers.

IEBC has not even claimed there was a failure of the KIEMS technology outside the few vague mumblings about 3G/4G coverage that crop up on this forum and a few others.  And that was debunked by Mwilu.  There is really no official narrative by IEBC on why we don't have the transmission metadata of their KIEMS kits well over a month after elections and a court order to boot.  In fact they seem reluctant to discuss this at all.  Time for another Chebukati leak maybe.

That is okay - 9 more days for NASA to make more noise. We can live with that.

The Wakora wants a complimentary systems in case of failure. I think that is important because technology can and does fail most of the time.

Hell NO. We are not yet even started with Magara or is Maraga. First business is to get Uhuru victory restored and then like Uhuru said - then Maraga & judiciary need lots of fixing. Parliament will be pretty much busy working on it.
