More verbal diarhoea by Raila. Seem like daily press conference is now expected on the same subject...where is the investigator, the prosecutor, the judge and the jury. Now Safaricom & Telkom are also part of rigging. The attempt here is very clear..muddy the water so he can avoid wembe ni ule ule on 17th October. So without Safaricom and Telkom - who will provide network for electronic election - and clearly it moronic to imagine you can procure and be ready with new technology in a month.

Chebukati just has to forge ahead ad do his job as per SCOK order and undertake any changes they think will cure the mistakes of 8.8. Raila can ran back to court to prosecute his issues there.

If Chebukati cannot do his job - the other commissioner should vote him out - and get the job done.

There are some things I believe IEBC can(and should do) to at least clear the air with NASA.

1.  Chebukati should share all the answers to his questions in the Chiloba memo.

I know it was confidential, but it came out neverthless.  So the public needs answers.

2. The end-to-end audit of the IT ecosystem at IEBC with a focus on what was going on around election time.

I have seen reports(rumors?) that the KIEMS supplier thinks October 17th is too early to upgrade the KIEMS kits.  Obviously we need to know what they think they need to upgrade, why an upgrade is needed, in addition why we have not seen the KIEMS metadata up to now?  The election happened over a month ago.  We are 3 weeks into a court order to open the servers.

Without doing that, even a non-partisan observer can sympathize with NASA for not wanting to go headlong into an election with this referee.

The ruto wing of Jubilee will soon find themselves in a minority position.  The notion that you can ignore NASA after the "dog beating" at the SCOK is ridiculous to say the least. The findings of irregularities and illegalities by SCOK cannot be swept under the rags and must be addressed to NASA's satisfaction. Chiloba must understand that just because he is Ruto's man does not make him untouchable.  He needs to resign and lawyer-up as soon as possible and stop holding this country hostage.

You seem to have read SCOK judgement. We haven't. We are all eagerly waiting to know what irregularities and illegalities were committed and by whom. We know they EXONERATED Uhuru in their summary judgement.  We expect IEBC to read the judgement and tweak or fire people involved. If Chiloba is fingered - he goes. I don't know when he became Ruto man.

As long as we have election on 17th or before 30th October - we are fine.

That they found "irregularities and illegalities" will not change.

Of course. The nature of those irregularities and illegalities - and who was responsible (if any)- is UNKNOWN. So Raila and your guys need to take chill pill.
That they found "irregularities and illegalities" will not change.

IEBC was found responsible for the irregularities and illegalities. They were in court throughout the litigation and they cannot pretend they are clueless as to the facts of this case.  Chebukati seems to have known where the problem was when he wrote that memo to chiloba and hired a new team to over see the new re-eclection project until Ruto intervened.   Now IEBC is acting as if they do not know what went wrong with the elections. C'mon.!!

Aid it before. The memo is no more different from an audit query. 'Whistle blowers' leak that and all of Kenya ululates forgetting about the responses which curiously nobody is interested in
