I saw your flame war in the other thread and decided to continue the conversation here: From your answer, here is the difference I see. You are concerned with the ethnic coalition remaining intact while I am thinking about the nation remaining intact. When I said that Kale-Kyuk swap every 10 years will not happen, I wasnt saying some political coalition will outsmart it. I was thinking of graver problems. Those examples of people being ruled by families for years...you really think they are analogous to a sitiation where people identify primarily as groups and perceive themselves as ruled exclusively by just one or two, not out of a developed accepted tradition but something seen in an oppressive way? These are the mistakes people have made all over the world, Sudan, Rwanda, Iraq, Syria...its not something I think good. I hope people who see further than you prevail and realize that nationalism is urgent.
