The actual start is 54%. That's a sure footing indeed.

Hope this continues. We are tired of ineptitude for the last 50+ years.
Kenya owes a lot to its citizens and there is no need to ceelebrate debts.

Better hope he doesn't pocket it instead.  I heard they are now going to get rid of Edward Ouko in Parliament.  We'll soon be in the era of full accountability. :)

Edward Ouko is definitely gone. I am sure he will be glad. We are back to Kanu mama na baba days.

Corruption will be declared dead by a simple parliamentary motion.  See.  Not so difficult.

Ouko is a good guy.
But he has succumbed to pressure to withhold audit queries and report on Eurobond from the website. Then there is a lynch mob mentality here where audit queries are treated as the unholy grail of graft....this even before the relevant state officers right of reply. This is what hit Kingi,Wambora,Kabogo,Nanok,Rutto Mafya-Gate...

So while I have no doubt that Ouko is the best of the best auditors we have had in ages, I believe they can do better by educating the public of exactly what they do. I've never seen him granting a single interview for instance.
