Sugoi was a circus if any of the stories we are being told are true.  Msando was likely a message to IEBC.  They seem to have received it clearly, going by their body language on news media.

1. To enter and retrieve "something" from Ruto's home
2. Create an excuse to place him under massive surveillance

All those objectives were achieved.

All police choppers' arrival was filmed and reported live. I thought journalists arrive late and after the police? These ones arrived way before the emergency services!

They reported that they had seen three dead bodies. Has anybody heard of it after ward?

When I read the standard account, it felt false to me for some reason, especially contradicted with the fact that the watchmen at TRM saw just two people in the car, and Msando's 3 am text message.

One way of trying to solve this issue would be to scan *all* vehicle registrations in all plausible routes from Roysambu to Kikuyu from 2 am to 9 am. Pick out the vehicles that were both in the Roysambu/Thika Rd area, and somewhere near Kikuyu (Waiyaki way etc).

If we were to go with what the security guys said, the vehicle entered the block of flats but didn't leave. They probably left in a different car then.

These security cameras are neat, we need more. And they should flag vehicles that have the number plate obscured in some way.

I missed this one.  I think this forum is moving too fast to what I am used to for the past few years.

Good points.  If you believe Al-shabaab is involved, then you probably find Nollywood movies realistic.  As soon as I realize the IG and the rest are lying, I just zone them out and try to see if there are better sources of finding the information.

It's apparent you have some dry wit.  You should use that more often.  The presence of a nuclear tipped ICBM launching panga was the only thing remotely possible in that entire narrative.

Some development on cracking the case

The Uganda Police Flying Squad have intercepted a car in which suspected killers of Kenyan Deputy Director at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Christopher Chege Msando were travelling.

The vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner, with Ugandan registration number plates; UAX 311E was intercepted at Pabbo Sub-county, Amuru District in northern Uganda, on Friday afternoon.

Three suspects, a Kenyan national and two Ugandans have been detained.

 The suspects have been identified as Mathew Butia a Kenyan national, and Mr Joseph Okongo and Moses Goloba both Ugandans.

It is reported that the suspects entered Uganda through Malaba border post in Tororo District and were heading to Juba, the capital of South Sudan.
