My punditry record speaks for itself. Wait for 8th and you'll disappear for some years.
When Spinning came in to fashion, I was a young ambitious man in an international university. I signed up to audit their lectures. Somewhere along the way I wanted to formally join but the regulations did not allow.

One of the small things I learned is that to be credible allow yourself to lose from time to time and admit errors. It was referred to as deliberate shooting in the foot so the enemy won't shoot you in the heart.

Our friend belongs to the old school or deny, deny and deny. When caught, deny, deny and deny some more. That ended with the likes of Henry Kissinger who could also control Information flow totally.

You attempt that today and you become the laughing stock of the world. When you lie know that some kid somewhere is watching and will counter that lie within seconds even before you sit down. A video, photo, news report or just a live interview with the affected person would soon be running on a double screen ridiculing you. I think the development of the internet and social media lately just made lots of things obsolete.

The IEBC put out a corrupt database online. Withing minutes all the dirt was oozing out. They shut down the SMS service and then the online portal. They were overwhelmed and shamed.

I was bemused with Pundit trying to mislead people that the IEBC was not hosted at Safaricom. Some of the stuff he wrote exposed him rather badly and I decided not to pursue.

What we have is a gang that thinks the old style. They are thinking force. They are thinking of setting up a centre to mark ballots and deliver them to selected storage. They are planning to bribe agents and election officials. They are hooping to publish fake results as they did in 2007 and 2013. That is how it has always worked and they believe it will work the same way.

The NIS listens to all the phones, knows what Raila is planning. They make counter plans. They bribe key persons in opposition to calm things down. Has it not always worked`???? They have the cash. They just asked for and got an extra 3 billions to use to rig elections. Who can beat that...

They better pay attention when the youth sing "Vindu Vichenjanga" "Mambo yabadilika"
Pundit keeps on changing the goal post.  When it suits him Kenyans vote only on tribal lines, then again, ouru will peel off certain small but significant votes from other tribes  to reach his 50% plus goals easily.  Fair enough.  However, when someone makes the same argument in favor of NASA, he rejects it.  As far as he is concerned,   NASA's votes cannot grow beyond the tribal votes he has conveniently assigned to them but somehow jubilee can.   NASA Crowds in Taraka nithi or Kericho or Bomet are fake-unreliable and means nothing but Jubilee crowds in Bukusu, Nyamira, Machakos are indications that  Jubilee is gaining grounds in opposition strongholds.  How do you reason with rabid partisan masquerading as a social scientist.

My punditry record speaks for itself. Wait for 8th and you'll disappear for some years.

Let me repeat this:

In 2002 we all predicted the defeat of Uhuru and the success of narc
In 2007 we all predicted ODM victory
2013 - we split with you becoming a consigliere supporting Uhuru. You have refused to even examine allegations of rigging in a Papal fashion (the pope banned the telescope and there precluded examining the evidence against Joshua 10)

So what record do you have that we don't?

If anything KM and others who rightly predicted a CORD victory which was stolen have a better record than you. The person you predicted would win through the ballot actually lost!

So tell me Pundit upon what do you arrogate yourself the status of a pundit?

My suspicions remain that you and others linked to Chichir are working hard to vote for everybody in August. As a friend I would sincerely counsel you against it. I'll publish the names of the thieves a few days to elections so we can start burning their houses

Election rigging will cost a lot. I can assure you wanainchi will not take this lying down
... [the ICC case] will be tried in Europe, where due procedure and expertise prevail.; ... Second-guessing Ocampo and fantasizing ..has obviously become a national pastime.- NattyDread

It just not about predicting - it's predicting with precision of a surgeon.

Let try recent history.

Let me tell you about 2010 referendum. Yes of course were winning. But MOAS predicted NOS would get 33%(31%) versus NO 69%(68%). You know opinion polls & everyone predicted 20% versus 80%.

In 2013 - all opinion polls were predicting Raila would win - Infotrak had 53% for Raila and 39% for Uhuru. MOAS flipped it - I had Uhuru at 53% and Raila at 39%. Final result- Uhuru at 50.5(51%) and Raila at 42%. I got everything bulls-eye except turn out (72% turned to 86% - helping raila get to 40%) and while I had MaDVD beating Raila in Western - Raila beat MaDVD.

In 2017 - I am totally confident - except for turn out - this is pretty easy one.

You can predict 10 elections correctly and still be wrong on the 11th one.  This is social science my brada and therefore you will never be able to predict it with the "precision of a surgeon".  A friend of mine recently had a surgery in the best hospital. They bragged that their post surgical infection rate at this esteemed institution was only 2% and for this particular doctor it was 0%.  My friend got a post surgical infection.  I am not therefore not as impressed with your stats as you seem to be.
