I am worried because unlike you I love this country and don't have another home. You have passing interest of course because you're tucked safely abroad and think Jesus Christ is the answer of all problems. I want free and fair elections - not free for all chaos that we are proposing here.
There are no independent candidates in Kenya. Maybe Miguna Miguna alone is independent. The rest are Jubilee independent Candidates. ODM independent candidate. Wiper independent candidates.
When it come to tribal collusion in strongholds - that is given - any place where leading candidates has 90% support - then basically nearly everyone including the PO is party supporter. The only outsider in const as far as IEBC goes is RO - PO/Clerks/Agents/Observers/ Deputy RO - are locals.
Tell me how many real party agents Jubilee will get to monitor polling station in Luo Nyanza? People will take care of their votes for small seats - but when it come to presidential - all will agree.
I only have a passing interest in Zamunda elections. I have never seen Pundit so worried even after conjuring up a MOASS. Of late I have read his panicked posts and come to the conclusion that Jubilee is determined to rig itself back to power despite incumbency. With Chebukati now correctly put in his place, focus is on polling booths. IEBC has jumped the gun by telling NASA mainly that only one agent is allowed per polling station. Why when IEBC is seemingly leaning on one side? What will save the numbers is now tge many independent candidates we have in strongholds. I do not see how Kafogo and Waitutu will collaborate to find just the right number of ballots in Kiambu or Thogoto to pad presidential numbers and alliw the RO to announce in time. Independent candidate PK ib Nairobi will also need to sit down with Sonko or MM to agree on numbers for presidential elections. We need to start an independent candidate branch of IEBC.
