These are voters who have registered and died over the years. This register dates back to 2012 - about 6 yrs ago. The adult mortality rate considered, I see nothing strange with the number of deaths.

Minors are not included in that figure because only adults register to vote (presumably)

Certainly. Not my business. 1 million seems to be the magic number in Kenyan elections. It has featured over and over.

This audit doesn't seem helpful. They've returned the ball to IEBC. We need final register soon. Why can't civil register furnish IEBC with names with National ID numbers?

Folks should just register afresh every general election - due to poor record keeping - that way no ghosts need to be cleaned up.
