Kidero's Slum Hall sinks further
« on: May 17, 2017, 02:10:56 PM »
Kidero has been anything but disaster.

Lack of salaries used to happen in Moi and mayor times. Most recent strikes have been about salary increments.

I would have supported a new person who would come tuned to fix Nairobi. There is none. Sonko and Igathe are criminals in name and everything else. Nairobi is therefore better off with Kidero or fucked

Perhaps Sonko would f**k it in a different way, just as a NASA government would give Kenyans the same tarimbo they have been getting from Jubilee, but with a newness of angle.

The Americans elected Trump over Clinton. There are those who said what is the difference, both would fuck the US anyway. May be there is some good in being fucked the usual way than suddenly having to be shafted the unusual way. No doubt you think it is better for Uhuru to continue the usual ravishing than NASA.

The difference for me is that Uhuru and Ruto are screwing the country in ways hitherto unknown. Sonko and Igathe would simply be small time arsonists compared to the Masters of The Fires of Hell, Uhuru and Ruto.

Here is what Obama told them:

No way the slum city can sink further than this. It can only go up.

We don't expect magic or 'fixing' of the slum city- just some 'disorganized efficiency' and basics such as paying salaries, being on top of contractors, garbage collection, sewers, hawkers control . Being a city that has organically grown through disorganisation for a century plus, it will never be Geneva but it can be managed better for those who have chosen it.

Things like matatus and jams are going nowhere but the slum dogs can manage it better.

The meat always looks more inviting from a different angle than the current one.  You cannot tap it missionary all the way.

Sonko's other business is private collection of garbage. That means he would not be in a hurry to fix the garbage problem - even if he knew how to do it.

Polycarp is there to maximize the thieving ways of The Kirubi Family of thieves. Whether he is the son or not, anybody who has worked for Kirubi for two decades and above stands betrayed by that connection in my book
