Weta is highly likely to retain senate seat due to strong NASA influence unlike Isaac. He will wind up smiling for 5 years as the others wallow in the cold same as now post-2013. The "premier CS" positions are just meaningless carrots.

Scoff.... scoff kabisa. You are right about "strong NASA influence" in Bungoma County yet you can't see that the reason why Weta is back in there bare knucked is because someone at IEBC has instructions from above to undermine him in his OWN backyard and steal presidential votes in Bungoma County. Why is it that Luhyas are being saddled by POs and ROs from one community yet Kenya has 43 tribes?

Jubilee fellas are now reduced to the Hyena Mirage View. I am told the Vulture also suffers the same distemper. Both animals can dog a human for hundreds of kilometers sometimes at the pain of starving or crossing into hostile no go territories. When a vulture sees the would be prey close the eyes, it readies for a meal. While the Hyena reacts to the motions of the hand.

Indeed it is this habit of the vulture that is said to have led to the salvation of one or two dozen human travellers in the wilderness who pretended to "die" by closing their eyes and thereby encouraged the Vulture to move close enough for it to be killed and turned in to a sumptuous life saving meal.

Back on earth: The members of the Jubilee Coalition were:

1. Uhuru Kenyatta
2. William Samoei Ruto
3. Najib Balala
4. Charity Ngilu

Charity Ngilu ran for the Senate - Kitui Delegation and lost to Musila
Najib Balala - Ran for Mombasa Senate and was wallopped

Today, Jubilee and Pundit are spreading the lie that going for lesser elective seats when in a coalition means you know the coalition would not win.

I rest my case.

Evidence

Jubilee Coalition Partners including Ngilu and Balala:

Balala and Ngilu Senate run results:

Being designated "Premier CS" and/or "NASA Pentagon" member is smart politics (hedging). Any outcome will be a win for Weta... but is not rigging-proof. Jubilee is likely choking CORD bases with NIS agents to stop ballot-stuffing while allowing its own bases to stuff ballots. NASA is mostly powerless to 100% eliminate this grassroot (polling station level) cooking... This silent residual "rigging machinery" [sic] is an incumbency advantage.

Pity you did not think Ngilu and Balala were swallowing Uhuru's kool-aid? You are a Master of double standards.

Balala and Ngilu hedged and became CS's despite losing the elective seats. Kalonzo briefly hedged as nominated Wiper MP but quickly withdrew his name in shame  :D

It is entirely possible that NASA wins while Isaac loses thus aptly winding up as "Premier CS" ... which is a senior CS Raila held 2003-04. Noone is guaranteed a win Pundit's and Omollo's bravados notwithstanding.

Robina

First of all, Jubilee has forgotten what they sold to us four years ago is the same thing they are condemning. If anything Musalia Mudavadi is not going for any elective post - as far as I know. Yet ALL Jubilee coalition partners went for elective posts. We can only ignore their noises. They are bereft of logic and sound arguments and even their own propaganda is turning against them as they face defeat.

Secondly, NASA has very clear pro-people policies which will be applied to ease public spending, reduce or if possible eliminate frivolous elections whose purpose is to provide avenues for corruption and grand standing.

By-elections is one such area. NASA is working on a method where the mandate granted to an electee is carefully shared between the sponsoring party and the electee. Thus if a seat becomes vacant then it is the party to replace the member. This is part of a wider reform with a view of considering modern methods of conducting elections to preclude "wasted" votes. All and every vote must count.

If 30% of the people voted for URP and the rest voted for ODM why should the 30% be ignored?

That said, MPs and other elected persons should be free to seek leave from their posts to perform other duties. This is happening in many decent democracies and has helped to cool down politics. Elections are held once in a period and unless under special circumstances - such as recall etc, there should be none.

The plan was always for Balala and Ngilu to quit and become CS just like Keter.

Balala and Ngilu hedged and became CS's despite losing the elective seats. Kalonzo briefly hedged as nominated Wiper MP but quickly withdrew his name in shame  :D

When did Ngilu & Balala get jobs as lofty as Deputy Premier CS and went ahead to contest. As far as I could tell they were aiming for Majority Leader of parliament (Ngilu) and CS for Balala - who I think didn't ran on any party.

Balala and Ngilu could not be offered any cabinet position until after elections when if Jubilee won, they would be eligible for them.

Please put on your glasses or borrow magnifying lenses and see what party balala ran on. It is his own briefcase party created for that purpose. I have posted the information for you to see because I anticipated this kind of denial.

If Ngilu had been offered the posts of Majority leader why was she not granted the right to name her protege to the post? And I assume you know that she was headed to the Senate and not the National Assembly. Parliament technically means both the Senate and the National Assembly. However some people refer to the NA as "parliament" - thanks to the bribe-taking Jubilee journalists. So which do you mean?

Balala ran for the senate and lost.

The jobs "offered" are so offered on the same terms as Ngilu and Balala being offered whatever you say they were offered. What is the difference? The President can create those positions in cabinet, unless you want to say he can't.
