Kiunjuri supported the current Laikipia governor who won, ensured that Mutahi kagwe didn't win the governorship in nyeri (though mutahi wasn't well liked). Going forward in Mt kenya region the most important thing its going to be devolution and how a lot of funds can be retained in the counties So expect a big push to adjust  revenue allocation formula to reflect contribution of counties( push to federalism).
