Looks like a copycat thing.  The more important questions for me Why is he dead?  Did the police solve the other son's death?  Is Kenya police capable of getting to the bottom any murder?  I feel like they are sorely out of their depths if they don't catch the killer in action.

i think this may be a case of "alcohol" or other causes that are already obvious.. You know in Kenya alcoholism is not treated you are banished to die alone

Wealth without sacrifice is a terrible thing. It leads to all kinds of evils. Even WArren Bufett made his son work for his well being but in Kenya its different. Thats why alcoholism and all other evils are on a significant rise in Kenya.

There is also another malady where people like Kiereini may be very mean to kids. They think by being tough on kids it will make them responsible but it kills their self esteem thus they cannot thrive.. Michuki treated his kids the same way he treated others. so his kids ended up with a lot of self esteem issues

The only problem is that when kids expect entitlements they don't work hard. Look at Trumps kids, they work hard and they are succeeding. Same with Warren Buffets kids. But the Kenyan generation born into wealth has really let Kenyans down. Most have become drunkards with no focus in life. They inherited their fathers wealth and they are comfortable.
Current leaders only focus on creating wealth instead of a society. In the short run that works but a chaotic society like the one in Pakistan is the norm. You have gangs of unemployed roaming the streets day and night. Soon they look for leadership that embraces gangs like the Taliban, etc. And everyone build walls to protect themselves against these gangs, but these walls are also prisons.

In Kenya the deaths of wealthy and powerful persons and other members of their families are investigated and the truth kept away for ever. Where the family knows the real cause of death, the ask the police to keep their distance.

Some examples:

Muigai Kenyatta - rumor has it that Mama Ngina - mounting giraffe eyes paid some folks to carry him shoulder high then drop him like a hot potato. He died on the spot. The carriers vanished and nobody in the crowd even knew them. There was talk that he had been knifed while lifted and he pushed to fall. There was no inquest and the "family" decided not to reveal the cause of death or investigate. Lot's of people had knives out for the powerful son of Jomo, including Moi. So there you go. It was almost a consensus that he should disappear.

George Saitoti and Others - who still cares and who ever cared? A whole minister of internal security. The claim that there were no cameras in the place where the helicopter was kept were found to be false when KTN showed clips of them.

Ronald Ngala - anybody ever drove into bees which then enter and sting the driver causing him to overturn? The bee stings turned out to be so similar to bullets. The doctor who found them and entered in the report was arrested and sentenced for stealing government drugs namely painkillers found in his drawer at his house.

Judy Angaine- having had affairs with ministers including Paul Ngei who visited her on the night of the murder, an attempt to pin her death on her boyfriend failed when he established an alibi. Ngei was named and that rapidly ended the case. Minister Harvester Angaine was not happy that the death of her daugher was all over the press from the very beginning and blamed Njonjo for using the death to fight his wars with Ngei.

Esther Chesire - killed by Amin. No answers as to how she came so close to Amin to be killed. I doubt that her body was ever found. The matter was followed up by Njonjo again with a reluctant powerful father appealing to relative Moi (VP) to persuade Njonjo to go slow. The matter went freezing cold as soon as Kenyatta died in 1978 and not only did Moi become president, Reuben Chesire too grew more wings as the ASK and KFA grew richer.

Mutula Kilonzo - The family refused to publish the cause of death. The DPP seems to have agreed. No inquest as required by law.

Otieno Kajwang - No inquest.

Bob Ouko - Inquiry terminated.

Stephen Achiya Echakara - A bitter husband arranged to fix him. His dick and balls were cut off and delivered to the wealthy owner of Mugoya Construction company whose wife was in the company of the assistant minister for Finance in Moi's government! A comedy trial started with the prosecution refusing to charge the accused men with the right offence for fear of harming the minister's reputation. The defence was having none of that. Led by a well known advocate, they exposed details the police did not want heard. Newspapers at some point simply went blank despite massive interest in the case. The defence revealed that Mrs. Musungu had lost her panties during the attack wondering if she was "robbed" of them?

Echakara sure loved his press ups.
