This is an Obado vs Ayacko. Obado was sulking because he wanted a direct nomination certificate for Governor like Kidero and others got. He was told they were incumbent ODM Governors with no declared opponent within the party. He on the other hand has several opponents seeking the same ticket.

Obado knows he can't achieve the same fate as 2013. It was exactly the mess with nominations that earned him a protest vote. This time ODM is doing it right. Whoever wins the ODM nomination will be the Governor. Hence the frustration.

He attacked Junnet's rally because he believed it was meant to promote Ayacko.

I think those who follow Joho for an opportunity to take a sniper shot at him discovered the chance a bit late. Joho was already in his car hence the bullet holes on the car.

ODM is synonymous with violence esp in Luo strongholds in Nairobi & Nyanza. The reason is obvious. Raila interference in local elections. If Raila was truly allow democracy to thrive - there would be no tension.

Every election with raila involved - people have to die in large numbers. 3 died in Nairobi in clash btw Ongoro & Kajwang.
