I hate drug dealers. However we have a small problem. Why is the law not applied equally?

Extradited for what? They voluntarily "extradited" themselves to Hague. Ruto in-fact went there even before he was summoned. Akasha should similarly done so, go to the US and apply for bail, and fight their case.

The Akasha's lawfully resisted extradition. The same Gichuru, Okemo, Walter Barasa, Paul Gicheru and Philip Kipkoech.

Uhuru decided to ignore the process and deliver them as packages to The Hague.

Uhuru and Ruto could also have been delivered to The Hague as soon as the case came up and left over to seek bail. It is not like they had refused or needed have refused to be bundled and delivered.

Similarly The Akashas were going through a process. Just like Uhuru and Ruto had to go through a legal process. Communicating to the Hague their willingness to attend was part of that process.

That's also the impression I had.  They use the law and ignore it when it suits them.

On further reading - they were extradited without court order. That is not nice.

Well, Uncle Sam having realized there is a weakness, has sent a new list of suspects he needs packaged nicely and delivered before Valentine's day. The Beast needs good food to eat on that day.

Those are the perils of such acts. Now how will they explain why Okemo and Gichuru are still around? Or why Baraza et al are still here?

It would look like Trumpism came to Kenya before Trump.

The reason Moi is walking free and will die in his own bed is because he listened to four people: Charles Njonjo, Amos Wako, Timothy Mibei (not Raila). Never break the law however much you bend it was his mantra. Moi therefore ran a brutal regime which like the Colonial regime before it remained fastidious may be even punctilious when it came to the law. Detentions without trial were legalized and the process followed to the letter; Firing of Judges would only take place after the law had been changed to allow it. In that case many lawyers became cogs in the diabolical train smashing through dissent.

I am not excusing him but simply pointing out the dangers Uhuru and co are placing themselves in. Kidnapping is still a crime even when carried out on the illegal orders of a president. All the mother or wife of the Akashas has to do is file a report with any police station after Uhuru is defeated and you will see things moving. When you see that Pundit, know the rule of law is with us.
