I have NO doubt that the likes of Wabukala are among the last few Kenyans of impeccable integrity left standing. He is not in it for the huge salary and most probably honestly seeks to fight corruption.

HOWEVER

The entire law that governs corruption fighting in .ke (especially high level) was deliberately written and designed NOT to work.  Thieves like former VP Saitoti are said to have hired lawyers to go through the draft laws and change/remove/insert loop holes to protect their client.

The way big corruption is organized in .ke is such that the chief protectors of corrupt individuals is Uhuruto and the criminal GOK they head so consequently the greatest forces against Wabukala will be Uhuruto

If after settling in, among the first thing Wabukala asks for is NOT totally radical reforms of the entire anti corruption laws that govern how EACC, works then we know we have a problem.
