Kikuyus blame Ruto for Ouru's 2017 woes
« on: December 21, 2016, 05:04:48 PM »
Ruto's arrogance in assuming  2017 ouru reelection was a forgone conclusion and hence his 2022 campaign is now being blamed for what is shaping as a tough 2017 election. 2017 cannot be assumed by either Jubilee or CORD because politics can change any moment and Ruto and his supporters need to tone down their arrogance.  Even stealing elections is no longer assured.  If Ruto does not change his tact, I see a fall out between kikuyus and Kalenjins as more kikuyus who are more pragmatic about power, begin to separate from Ruto.  The ball is now on Ruto's court and that is bad for Jubilee because Ruto is not a very good politician outside his tribal enclave.
