Let see if EACC, DPP and Parliament will do their job. Kimani of Anti-graft proceeds should seize Ngatia's property as soon as possible. I also agree that security and defence is a big mess. You don't need any audit - just compare our budget and our neigbours - then compare the military hardware we pack. We are I think top 4 military spender in Africa but our equipment is probably ranked top 15.

The beauty of money being stolen in the current regime is that it can be traced. The IFMIS despite being the conduit of corruption it leaves a trail of who was paid and to which account.So kimani of asset recovery can freeze and recover all assets of directors affiliated with companies implicated . The 35b GE equipment was a noble idea but its the implementation  and installation of those equipment with local partner one Macharia of Seven seas technologies http://www.sstgroup.com/about that inflated the cost.
Ngatia is the guy who owns the club opposite consolota church and school on waiyaki way. It was formerly owned by chris kirubi.
Bottomline all those companies mentioned they don't work in the private sector some were created solely to win government tenders. Even seven seas was novice in medical equipment before jubilee came to power.
The defence is much worse. Ask yourself why one John karangi would manage to own a helicopter costing well over 300m and yet he's a career soldier.

So Uhuru keeps borrowing to pay for development and even this is siphoned and only  pennies to the shilling finally reach their destination. We need someone who can "clean the swamp". The likes of bernie sanders wouldnt do anything only exacerbate the situation. Anyone advocating for enlargement of government is bound to open new avenues for corruption. The solution is starving the beast that's the government and reducing the scope of government. The government should concentrate on few areas like infrastructure. Anytime when government officials tries to create things artificially like kazi kwa vijana or the nys program we end up with not only corruption but ridiculous wastage.

Macharia's PA Irene Nanayu is the sister to Naomi Wanjiku who is a co-director at MedAfrica. Wanjiru's co-director at MedAfirca is Njage Makaga who OWNS Estama Ltd.
In other words, Estama is indirectly owned by Nanayu through Wanjiku and Njage.
But Nanayu is the PA of Macharia...
Macharia moved with her from NIC Bank where she was his Executive Assistant.
When this corruption erupted, before it became public, Macharia was moved to Transport and Infrastructure.

Btw, if Nanayu owns Estama, then we can conclude she also does own it in proxy for Macharia. The guy is now in charge of Transport. That is even more juicier than MOH.

There is no evidence thus far to suggest Macharia was involved. The PA might have take advantage of her position to curry her own favours from the ministry.This is what folks in Kenya and elsewhere do. She should be questioned by EACC and parliament. It obvious that right now she is probably doing the same in the transport dept.

It is lack of political goodwill to fight the vice. President Kenyatta knew about containers before the information went public. The Cabinet must have "authorized" the spending on this free maternity initiative. It is said that the reason why the scandal blew is because the PORK had signaled that the containers pricing was inflated and project was NOT up to his standard.

When you see Pesa mashinani fight going viral and becoming an issue it is because people know money has been eaten..
