Botswana'ss per capital income is 5 times Kenya's!!

Please explain since the Kenya's GDP is much higher than Botswana's.
Does it mean that most wealth is concentrated in a few hands?
Take a look at Nigeria's. The spread is highly noticeable.

Doesn't the population matter?  Botswana's is tiny compared to Kenya's.  That is not to deny that there is a yawning chasm between the two countries.

Tiny should equal to a tiny per capita, i think.

All things even, it should be the inverse.  GDP per capita is GDP/population.  There is no denying Botswana has done some things right that can only be wishful thinking in Kenya.

In my thinking, Botswana's have a lot in their pocket than kenya.
Come to think of it, China has a very high GDP but per capita income is like $11000.
Swiss ($59k) have more money in their pockets than USA ($53). Yet USA has a large economy.

They indeed do.  It's partly a function of a smaller population.  Low on skilled manpower but mineral rich.  A long history of uninterrupted growth.  Stability because of a better history of governance.  Zero conflicts.  A dull peaceful country, enjoying the fruits of mediocre but honest and responsible leadership.
