After 20 years, SA gets the message.

Leaders who are unwilling to make their hands dirty fighting corruption and ineptitude must GO. With over 30% unemployment in SA one can't justify keeping the same drivers.
Kenya is next. We need a clean parliament.

Corruption... after the new constitution seemed to devolve and rejuvenate it in Kenya... it seems hopeless. Chapter 6, vettings, independent judiciary, SRC, EACC, ombudsman, budget controller, auditor general, DPP, yaaawwn. Not a solution in sight.

How exactly will new MPs stop corruption :o

Robina,
MPigs can hold hearings to force a better governed electorate.
MPigs can withhold funding for agencies that don't account for the money - including counties.
MPigs can hold hearings to recommend firing of inept executive officers.
The agencies you mentioned. MPigs have control of budgeting - they can cut the budget if they feel its not being used appropriately.
Etc Etc....
These Mpigs never even held a hearing to get to the bottom of NYS corruption.

South Africans should just elect DA bazungu to take over the running of the country.  There is nothing to fear.  Apartheid won't come back.  ANC black rule has outlived its novelity.  If DA doesn't work, they can always vote them out.

Most African leaders do not care about the populace. They use them to get rich and don't implement policies that can reduce the poverty levels across the board. Even in cities across America where majority are black same thing goes on - leaders take the populace for granted.

South Africans should just elect DA bazungu to take over the running of the country.  There is nothing to fear.  Apartheid won't come back.  ANC black rule has outlived its novelity.  If DA doesn't work, they can always vote them out.

I agree with the wazungu solution, especially where they are citizens like SA. Once they return their civilization minus colorbar the rest of Africa can follow suit and outsource leadership to the white man.

The current mileage-falsifying, salary-hiking voting robots are mostly fresh faces. That newer MPs will provide proper oversight is wishful thinking. Perhaps am wrong. We shall see.

Most senators want to be governors. I wonder why that is.

It's terrifying and humbling.  The pace at which their culture of eat now tomorrow will take care of itself has caught up with the rest of the continent.
