Oswago: 2013 Election Rigged
« on: July 29, 2016, 07:07:28 PM »
Too little, too late.  This is information the Supreme Court could have used.  Doubtful if it makes a difference though, looking at the quality of the ruling.

That said, what has been done to prevent rigging this time round?

He is a marked man. Somehow there will be a robbery that will end up in his death. Thats the Kenyan way.

The article is from 10th March, 2016. Five months ago, but that's not the point.

It just so happens that it was at exactly the same time he was being investigated for the chickengate scandal:

Maybe he needs it as leverage.  Unfortunately in Kenya, you can't dismiss either allegation.  He can be guilty and also be saying the truth about rigging.

The question is, if he was being absolutely honest about having proof (well, alleged proof) that the elections were rigged, wouldn't CORD already grabbed onto this like a psychotic Bull Terrier?

My opinion is the guy was caught pants down with his grubby little hands in the cookie jar and is now playing the victim (as Kenyans we should long be used to this, starting from the tried and tested "money has been poured to finish me" to screaming "my life is in danger").

I read a poem once. It was called "Blankets". I don't quite recall but there was this guy who lay bleeding in the road. He felt extremely cold and just wished somebody would get a blanket and throw over his bleeding body.

None came and he lay there. Finally he was no longer feeling pain. I guess he was dying. He could actually afford a grin as the pain vanished.

That is when he felt weightlessness as he was lifted from the ground in to clean white sheets and yes a blanket.

It was always sad to read and short as it were I never managed to complete it. I can guess that he died in these nice white sheets and blanket. The blanket came when he no longer needed it.

Incidentally as former ancient student of Lexicology I was recently reading some book on obsolete English words. One comes to mind whenever Oswago is mentioned : Quagswagging. It simply means dithering or swinging back and forth. Onomatopoeia???

He looks like he is being coy with the information.  If his strategy is to blackmail the movers and shakers, I don't see him necessarily handing the alleged information over to CORD.  CORD would splash it all over the world to no effect given the tribal nature of Kenya and he would lose his leverage.

Actually, it's plainly obvious he has no information. And his strategy is rally his tribe behind him so he does not have to take responsibility for misdeeds he he did. He's looking out for himself. CORD's not that stupid to fall for his shenanigans, that's why they're ignoring him.
