This election period is going to be more violent than we have ever witnessed.  The country is on edge and the winner needs to win fair and clear with a huge mandate.  Otherwise we may need a coalition government to hold it together.

Our young'uns are slowly but surely beginning to understand how the world works. They are seeing lawlessness in our politicians, headmasters, etc. for what it is and what it represents.

They're beginning to understand that they can and must challenge a corrupted authority.

Indeed.   They are waking up to the con.  They look up and see that those asking them to behave are themselves engaged in some serious misbehaviour and benefiting from it..   Even religion has not been left out, with "pastors" regularly in the media for "colourful" activities.

  • Watuka Boys High School in Kieni West.
  • Mwiyogo Secondary School and
  • Wamagana Girls Secondary School,  (closed after students became rowdy, with some choosing to walk out of the schools).

It's not easy torching a whole school. Need fuel. Likely paid arsonists leading up to elections. From 2008:

Suffice is to say the fires will end in two - three weeks when the extended second term comes to an end. I shall not update this anymore. Average 8 schools burn daily.

In most countries Matiangi should have resigned by now.  This is a leadership issue because it is going on all over the country.  The president should drop everything and address this issue ASAP.
