Reputable sources put his net worth at a max of about 200 million USD; about as much as he inherited from his dad.  He claims he is worth over 10 billion USD.  Still campaign funding doesn't say so much about the individuals wealth as it does about their ability to raise money.  Trump is having trouble attracting donors, outside his red-neck base.

What are the chances of a badly run, broke campaign pushing the candidate to victory? If one can't run a good campaign then he is definitely a bad manager and will lose. Just look at the difference in funding! Hillary is running ads in the battle ground states and going negative on Trump at this early stage. By the time comes on board - if he ever does - Hillary will go positive and accuse Trump of running a negative campaign. People will look at Trumps ads and believe Hillary

I think his goose is cooked. I was surprised he was holding rallies in California and Texas. Texas is his so he need not waste money there and he can't win California. The man has a loose screw up there.

Normally Texas is reliably red.  California blue.  In the general, there's hardly any campaigns in the secure states.  Just battle-ground states.

Trump's campaigning in Texas can only mean it is now a leaning towards becoming a battle-ground state.  California, I am not sure why he would campaign there.
