What are the chances of a badly run, broke campaign pushing the candidate to victory? If one can't run a good campaign then he is definitely a bad manager and will lose. Just look at the difference in funding! Hillary is running ads in the battle ground states and going negative on Trump at this early stage. I think his goose is cooked. I was surprised he was holding rallies in California and Texas. Texas is his so he need not waste money there and he can't win California. The man has a loose screw up there.

Normally Texas is reliably red.  California blue.  In the general, there's hardly any campaigns in the secure states.  Just battle-ground states.

Trump's campaigning in Texas can only mean it is now a leaning towards becoming a battle-ground state.  California, I am not sure why he would campaign there.
