RVP: would you say GDP growth is a fair assessment of the government's overall performance? Since all other scores - security, jobs, inflation, social cohesion, etc - are supposed to create a conducive production environment aka prosperity.

GDP is suppose to capture most of that. Of course some socio-political constructs you'll need more data. I am all for evidence/data/empirical/issue driven national discourse. We have to find objective means and ways to measure everything. Otherwise Jubilee say this and CORD says that..and there is no way to independently and objectively verify.
