ICT Prize For Uhuru... Dr. Masinde and GEMA Bots
« on: September 28, 2015, 09:16:36 AM »
I made my "first" visit to Choo.com just to read. I am currently undergoing detoxification from the contamination I suffered for years of trying to reason with baboons. So I come over a post by Dr. Masinde. It is a simple fair commentary backed by irrefutable facts: It is Dr. Ndemo and Not Uhuru who should have been honoured for taking ICT to such a high level in Kenya.

Now Dr. Masinde could have escaped lightly if he had mounted a pedestal in an evangelical Church and stated that "Jesus is NOT God". He would have heard a few "Riswas" and been sent packing. His treatment over at Choo.com was / is worse. The stones are still haggling over his head as if he were the Devil confined in Mecca to feel 42 million stones (Each worshipper may carry as many as 21 stones representing the seven times three times Abraham pelted The Devil)

The archives at choo.com can show that I never liked Ndemo even as he came up with all those projects. His last project which I called "Lego City" has been starved of cash and will die slowly. That death will be Uhuru Kenyatta's legacy. He has not as much as toured the city. It is NOT his priority.

Masinde pointed out that it is the other "Devil", Raila, who started the Roads revolution in Kenya. He notes that Raila earned the wrath of wealthy [Kikuyu] personages who had constructed posh houses in road reserves and wanted to use corruption and the courts to stop the construction of roads. The By pass projects in Nairobi should bare his name. More stones rained on Masinde...

Then he reminded:
Quote
.......Rural electrification projects were conceived by Kibaki (started during Kibaki's first term).

Free primary education was Kibaki's brainchild (even though not successfully implemented)

William Ruto was responsible for irrigation projects when he was Minister for Agriculture.

That is when the Chief Baboon (he actually uses a baboon avatar!) turned up to launch more personalized attacks. Masinde decided he had made his point and quit.

It is amazing though that Jubilee bots would attack previously loyal supporters for the frivolous "offence" of blaspheming against tin god Uhuru!

Like I said before, I am never swearing never to post over there but I will take my time before that.

That is what I noticed too. I think there is a concentration of pure evil at that site. I have no urge to post there even as they announce my early death.

What is he getting the prize for?  For making quick work of IFMIS, thanks to Waiguru?  Or inventing the computer error?

ISIS came to be as a result of extreme polarization. Republicans are also following suit. If I don't get my way my followers will certainly use machetes to make the point. I see it in Kenya and politicians enjoy it. I was amazed when I heard that people were in the streets fighting because Khalwale was in court. You see it everywhere nowadays and chaos is the order of the day.

There are some prizes that I call "Prizes of Condescension": the natives are doing better than one would have expected, how about a little pat on the back, by way of encouragement to all such?

The ITU just this month came up with this idea of a prize for "ICT in sustainable development".   First job was to find some recipient countries and figure out the names of their leaders.     Step forward Gabon, Bangladesh, Vanuatu, Kenya, ....

Anyways ... we can try to be objective about this: with or without ICT, what exactly has this GoK done that can be considered as contributing to sustainable development?
